No, not a Valkyrie.  It was an 1800 VTX.  Nice bike, my friend is selling it.  I wouldn't start so I did the starter button maintenance and lubed the kill switch.  Fired right up I think the main culprit was the kill switch.  Anyway No jacket, sun shining calm wind and light traffic.  Saw many many motorcycles on the roads and everyone seemed happy.

Sounds like a great way to spend some time to me!
Those 1800s must be a pretty nice bike. Heard they are pretty smooth and good torque.

Rode a 1800 VTX once.

Was so happy to get back on the smooth flat 6 Valkyrie that I owned at the time.
