When I was a kid on the farm, the silage would ferment some in the silo and seep out the cracks. It would then run downhill in the barnyard and the pigs and often some of the chickens would drink it. Even the big old St. Bernard got to liking it. The animals were staggering all over the place, pigs were running into walls and fences, chickens were the funniest. Saw one that flew to the lowest branch of a tree and  kept falling forward with its feet still clinging to the branch. It finally let go and fell straight down, landed in a heap, took a deep breath and didn't move. The next day they were all back at it again, I guess getting drunk the day before makes them thirsty.  Grin
