This is so much BS, these scum need to be stepped on hard.  Whatever it takes, this has gone on way too long.  Under this admin right and wrong doesn't mean a thing.  Ferguson is what they want for the rest of the country, and if we the citizen let it happen, we deserve it.

Its not enough that the police chief resigned, now they want the mayor to do the same. So, why not let everyone holding any position in the town resign and move out then let them have the town to themselves and see what happens.

Its not enough that the police chief resigned, now they want the mayor to do the same. So, why not let everyone holding any position in the town resign and move out then let them have the town to themselves and see what happens.

Maybe it needs to happen a few more times before someone figures this out.

I think the Feds ought to just take over the city. Remove any non black city government employees, replace them with African Americans, whatever that is, and relocate any non blacks that would care to leave. Then allow them to run their city into the ground, which I can pretty much guarentee will happen.
Who could they possibly blame at that point? And have anyone listen to them.

I had a slightly milder form of the same idea.

Unfortunately, all of the decent local employees would need to lose their jobs.  OK, replace all of the local leaders, then give it about 5 years and compare the numbers, across the board.  Match up the number of crimes, murders, even red-light and speeding tickets.  Let's see if the numbers change.

Remember, they couldn't pin anything of the officer, but they wouldn't feel that their job was completed if some kind of upheaval wasn't instituted.  So they looked at nothing more than statistics which indicated that blacks were arrested and/or fined in numbers out of proportion to their population in the area.  In my opinion, unfortunately, the numbers weren't out of scale with many other locals in the nation, but they couldn't let a crisis go to waste.

So let's see in 5 years if the numbers change.  If they do, fantastic.  If they don't, they'll be forced to face facts.  Who am I kidding.  They'll never face such facts.  It doesn't go along with the narrative of the victim.

The thing is, it isn't American against American in the classic sense. Its folks who would like to maintain the traditional American values of rewarding hard work, obeying the law, whether they agree with it or not, respecting their neighbors and their property and working towards a common good, versus folks who would rather complain they are victims, be compensated by their government for being "victims", have no respect whatsoever for the rule of law, haven't a clue as to what hard work is and would really rather just tear it all down, good and bad.

Well said Gary.  That video disgusts me.  Everybody is racist except blacks.  G-man the white racist, is married to a gorgeous black lady, I'm married to a Korean, but I guess Asians are racists too since they aren't black, so that doesn't count.  What a load of crap these folks have been feed, and nobody calls them on it.  

The video of the McDonalds beating, in another post shows another fine example of the young citizens that respect their peers and the law.  Watch The First 48 some time, almost every murder they feature is a black perp, and usually a black victim as well.  No respect for life, yet alone the law.  I'm not so sure that the stats quoted about the "racial injustice" in Ferguson were adjusted for black vs all others in the population, just more blacks breaking the law than any others.  But hell, what do I know, I'm racist.

Don't forget New Orleans just after hurricane Katrina.

RESCUE choppers were getting shot at.  RESCUE boats were getting shot at. 

People from Lafayette and Baton Rouge were driving down with air boats to help with rescue efforts (without being asked, I might add).  After a couple of days, the local enforcement started turning them away due to the dangers of being shot & robbed.

Just recently the Robinson shooting by a Madison WI police officer is in the news.  Police officer is of course off duty with pay until a full investigation is done.  Apparently the black 19 year old Robinson was fighting with the officer, so the officer shot him to protect himself.  NO idea on why a taser was not used first, but I guess if you are getting pummeled to death, doesn't the officer have a right to defend himself? 

All this protesting over a black life with 1,000's in Madison marching all over stating 'black lives matter'.   What about the other races, do they matter?  Maybe if the black young man was not fighting with the office, he would not have been shot?     If an officer tells you to put your hands up and freeze, you do as he says, you don't start fighting him.  Not saying this is what happened since don't know the whole scenario, but is just my guess on what might have happened.

So far, the protests are peaceful, but I can see it getting out of hand even in yuppie, mostly Caucasian,  Madison WI. 

If the officer is found to be racist and/or used excessive force,  he deserves what he gets as well.
