R.I.P. Tim Wilson  aka Rocky Top Tim
Age 54 passed away from cancer a couple of weeks ago.
Most on here will not know this guy, but he was a member and rarely posted. If you had ever had the chance to have met him...you would have liked him. Many of us at the 2012 Fall Color Ride met him at the biker shed in Tellico. He was sitting on his 98 black standard, when all of us pulled up beside him. He was shocked to see that many Valkyries in one place, besides his garage ...he owned two that were identical. One was for him, the other for his wife. He told me he had never heard of the VRCC, but when he got home from his ride he was going to join it. He said he had never met so many nice people especially Big AL, Smokin'joe and myself.
We exchanged info and he called me a couple of weeks later wanting to sell his wife's bike, and the price was about average, but the bike was perfect, so I picked it up for a friend of mine in Texas.
When I went to look at the bike, he told me he had cancer, and chances are he wasn't going to beat it. The Big "C" took Tim just 29 months later. He is survived by his wife, and three daughters and several grandchildren.

Hate to hear that Terry . He was a pretty cool dude I met him again several months later at the first overlook on Cherohala Skyline going toward Bald River Falls. That cancer is some nasty business .... I pray for a cure.
