Can a standard/tourer seat be used on a interstate with the larger fuel tank?

I know a Interstate seat will fit a standard you end up with a gap between the seat and gas tank. I think it will fit if you push down hard.

I also have the two piece Mustang on my interstate. It's snug but it looks good.

A little tight at the base of the tank...

If the saddle is an after 2000 OEM or Ultimate the nose will be scrunched as they are designed to ride up the Standard tank. They will go on as the back of the tank, larger or smaller, is in the same place.
