Since he was sentenced to 33 years in prison and fined for treason I doubt the US will risk relations with Pakistan since we were there illegally anyway and this guy is nothing to the US gov. Churn and burn baby. I am not the least bit surprised he was killed. Osama was there for a reason he had a home set up and they kept him hid. Do you really think they wanted him dead or turned over to the US. They have no love for us and to them Osama was a hero not a murderer. The only reason they have any cooperation is they are scared and don't have many options to retaliate. Otherwise the US would not have gotten Osama either. Not to mention we pay them big money not to grow poppy plants.
This is in Afghanistan but it might as well be Pakistan some beautiful pics of the troops patrolling the fields. There is no other cash crop in this area that is the problem when you can earn big money from these.

PESHAWAR, Pakistan — A Pakistani doctor who helped the Central Intelligence Agency pin down Osama bin Laden’s location under the cover of a vaccination drive was convicted on Wednesday of treason and sentenced to 33 years in prison, a senior official in Pakistan said.
A tribal court here in northwestern Pakistan found the doctor, Dr. Shakil Afridi, guilty of acting against the state, said Mutahir Zeb Khan, the administrator for the Khyber tribal region. Along with the prison term, the court imposed a fine of $3,500. Dr. Afridi, who may appeal the verdict, was then sent to Central Prison in Peshawar.
