Triumph had the Trident
Same engine, different badge/styling

That is indeed interesting!
I have been looking off and on for a Triumph Legend or Thunderbird 3-cylinder. They look and sound great. Good power as well. Think they were made from around 1996 to around 2003 or so, kinda' like the Valkyries.

The Beezer triple came out in '66 while the Triumph a couple years later. But I think both were released together. Why they waited I don't know.
The BSA had slanted cylinders while the Triumph had straight cylinders, different transmission and timing case.
I don't have a whole lot of other experience with them. If they changed and became the same in later years, I don't know.
The ones I have experience with are the twins.

The Triumph/Vetter Hurricane used a BSA triple engine rather than the Triumph triple engine.
