One more turn should do it!

Kent, Ohio

« on: March 23, 2015, 05:38:36 AM »

Wondering if anybody knows anything about the '00 Interstate for sale on Craigslist, in Geneva, Florida?
Don't know how to post the link on here or I would have.
It says that it was posted 22 days ago as of Monday in the am. I did not call about it, too early. Wondering if anybody might know owner or if owner is on here. Very nice looking Valk! At least looking at the pics it is. I know after my search for my Standard, pics/looks can be deceiving!
I'm up here in Ohio. Getting the bug for an Interstate. Just bought my Standard in Sept.'14. Love these bikes! I can save the Standard for my son Alex. I am soooo happy he enjoys riding on the back with me. Won't be long before he's able to maneuver one himself!
Anyway if anyone has any info or knows anything about it. Please let me know. I am gonna try calling this afternoon.
                                                 Thanx

Are you talking about this one

I don't know the seller but you could try and post in the Florida Board, maybe someone else has more information.

If you need someone to go out and look at it, let me know, I might be able to take a ride on  my day off and check it out for you.

Here is another one that you might want to consider, it looks like it is missing a side cover but it has the pod lights which is a great option and it also seems to have the cobra exhaust.

Yes, FLrider the black and red one is the one I mean. Never thought of checking out Fla. board, duh.
I did speak to him @ about 11am today. He is going to send me more pics later today.
Wow, quite the offer on taking a look at it for me! Thank you! I just may take you up on it. I'll know more after I see pics. My son wants to hit the road tomorrow morning, he'd go today but has a scrimmage baseball game this afternoon. He's on spring break and I can get time off w/o a problem. Road trip, him and I would be cool!
I will let you know. Again thanks for the offer! Greatly appreciated.

   Robin,
I agree with your brother! Owner sent me about 27 or 28 pics yesterday. I don't know if the condition is just plain neglect, salty air in Fla. or his storage method? All aluminum is in rough shape and some of the chrome.
But.... if he's negotiable, price is right and a some elbow grease. It will/could be a beauty!
Ten year old tires, I'm not riding back to NE Ohio on those.
