He either had to sell his 2005 Valkyrie or his 1983 Corvette. Not enough garage space for both!

Obviously, he doesn't want to sell it.
Maybe the wife made him list it?

I'm pretty sure that's what I paid for my 2003 (probably what his is) when I bought it new in 2003. Maybe this is the start of the appreciation cycle that happens to classics? I wish.

Maybe it is a 2003 that was not sold by the dealer until 2005. Dealers had quite a few in crates years after production stopped. First titled in 2005?

I bought my 2003 in late July from a dealer in NYC. He searched and searched and even told me that I might be out of luck. Said he spoke with some folks at Honda and they found a dozen in a warehouse near Chicago and that he better grab one because there ain't no more. Dealer assumed they were all left over 2002's that they called 2003's (which is why they were only available in one color as well).

Either he doesn't care enough for the bike to clean it to sell or like hook said, his wife is making him sell it. That's exactly how I bought one of my Interstates.......and for a great deal. At the notary's office, he confessed to me that he was so pissed at his wife for making him sell it, he would have taken any offer I made, regardless of the offer made. A missed opportunity?
