While doing various maintenance tasks on my Valk, I was cleaning my hands with GoJoe wipes & out of curiosity tried a wipe on some dried bugs (yes, we've already got them in Arkansas) & other road junk.
Worked like a charm.
I've carried them in a zip loc bag for a long time but never before used them on Valk.
Try it.

How about tap water and a micro fiber cloth ? Nothing works faster.

A water soaked towel while cleaning the rest of the bike. Drake it over the windshield and do the other cleaning. The dodo washes right off.

X-Man (Tom in NJ) had a new shield on our trip to Asheville. Every gas stop he'd break out a little spray bottle he had with a microfiber and wiped it down. Never asked what was in the bottle, though. Even if it was just water, nothing had a chance to really dry onto the shield as it was always being cleaned. His Valkyrie was spotless, though. Really nice Valk, as close to stock as I've seen. I think he did wind up getting the Ultimate seat on that trip.

What you get at a drug store straight. It's only 3% and is safe. It just dissolves the bug guts so they wipe off. Can actually see them foaming up
