Anyone who has ever traveled to Grand Tetons NP, Yellowstone NP, and Glacier NP.  What do you recommend as far as lodging?  Reservations or on the fly?  Things look pretty scarce and pricey.  I'm thinking of tent camping, but if I do, would probably bring my trailer.  It will be both the Fun Governor and I so not a lot of room on the bike riding 2 up.  I took 3 weeks off work for this trip.  Also include any must sees.  Thanks in advance.

Soda Butte Lodge, Cooke  City MT is where I stay, you wouldn't like it though. ~$100 / night.

Has a bar restaurant inside and the biggest bestest buffalo ribs at the Cooke Diner.
Cooke City looks like a set from a spaghetti western movie, you can almost walk to Yellowstone

Went to Grand Teton last summer.  Look into lodging in Driggs, Idaho.  Rates were much better, and it's a bit less touristy.  Plus, the ride over the pass is nice.

I stayed at the 1st motel on the left (across the street from the buffalo burger stand) as you ride
into Red Lodge after going over Beartooth  they had a pool too !

You will not get to ride Highway to the SUn in Glacier in June IMHO  wont be open for season yet
but check with Natl Park Service website

Its a nice day ride from Spearfish to Cody  lots to see there

How far west you want to go   Lolo Pass is really nice if you are going to Missoula thats where it Starts

Probably wont be snowing too bad there if it snows at all

remember when you get to the ocean you have to go north or south   2funny
unless you are doing a Gump, head back same way

I'm actually coming from Yellowstone to Inzane. We are staying at the canyon campground in the park. you could easily have 3 solid days of riding different loops especially the Bear tooth pass. As for glacier National park, its great too. There is pretty much only the Road to the sun to ride on but its spectacular. Whitefish and Kalispell are 2 places good places to stay.

Did Yellowstone last yr. I planned on camping until the woman came with me then I booked a room at Grants Village. Glad I did. It rained for 2 days and was 40 deg if that. No place to get out of the rain with the bike. Then again this was Aug and will prob be just as cold in June. Book now. I booked in June and there were 2 room left in the whole park. We stayed at Cody WY which is the east entrance. Its 70 miles from YS. I booked some rooms in Cody a few days ago and they were going fast. It was full at the Irma. Spearfish to Cody is a days ride. Prob 7-8 hrs from Spearfish. Grand Tetons was also a bust. Rain, cold, and foggy. Out of the Tetons to Casper WY is gorgeous.
Don't forget the Little Bighorn battlefield. Its just north of Sheridan WY.
Beartooth & Joseph HWY is just north out of Cody. I think 5 hrs to Red Lodge MT. Beartooth opens in June I believe.

Flagg Ranch between Grand Teton and Yellowstone.  It's not real cheap but it's a fun place to be.  Cabins and restaurant.

Cody or Greybull well east of Yellowstone.  Greybull is a comfortable little town but it's a good ride east of Yellowstone.

In the summer of '09 I camped inside Grand Tetons. They have a "Hiker/biker" camp area. At $7/night, 4 nights was pretty cheap. Showers in the laundromat for $3.75.
