I officially left Valkyrie Riders Cruiser Club some years ago when I resigned from the Board and my shares happily went to Misfit.

I have had nothing to do with neither the organization of the InZane Events nor the management of the club since November 5, 2013.

It was decided not to make an official announcement of my leaving back then, so I thought this is a good time to do so since I have:  Sadly I left the F6Rider Store some months ago as I’m just getting to old for all this crap.

I have sold the F6Rider Store (for like $1) with all its holdings, its website, equipment, business contracts/relationship plus commitments and non-compete assurances from past vendors who made some shirts, hats and patches for us. This is all the “the girls” thing now.

So F6Rider or the VRCC is not under my management in any shape, form or matter. I say this as I still get a lot of emails from members about the store and the club, please address all email queries about the store to f6riderstore@gmail.com, or use the Contact Form on the site. I am not sure where to send your questions about the VRCC.

I am dissolving the Stanard Group Inc which owned the F6Rider Store; the Corporation had a good 20 year run.

I plan to create some content for the new owners when I have an idea or they ask – I do not plan to charge a single penny for any art I create for the new owners of the F6Rider Store as it is a passion of mine to do t-shirt art. They will be commissioning other artists to carry on as I go into semi-retirement from creating Valkyrie graphics.

For the record Workerbee1, my wife and I wrote off $6,000 dollars losses from the F6Rider Store last year and a grand total of over $70,000 since we opened it in 1996, plus $20,000 dollars to buy out a VRCC partner back in the beginning. Don’t feel bad that’s an average of about $4,736 dollars a year.

I am the only partner to lose money on the VRCC, mostly because I never saw it as a for profit business. But with the VRCC paying for my travel and lodging for the InZane events I think of those trips to the rallies costing me only about $4000 a shot, not bad to pay for a vacation.

The Fat Lady banner was one of my ideas and something I wanted to do for a long time so I’m glad that I got that done. I understand there may be some issues with the banners but I've been assured that it was not my doing so that’s good.

It is the girls goal to make F6Rider profitable AND if they don't carry the torch there will be no official Valkyrie only store so the only place to get Valkyrie shirts will be off those crappy print a shirt dumps that charge an arm and a leg with art done by some dork who is not a graphic artist and never put his ass on a Valkyrie. So support the girls if you can and keep the last bastion of Valkyrie apparel alive.  (Side not, Sarah has 1000s of miles on a Valkyrie... as a passenger (O:

Again my friends, so long, farewell, auch wiedersehen, good night, Adios and adieu.

PS I will still be lurking on the board and we’ll see if I can keep my damn fingers off the keyboard to make some weird posts (O:

Thanks for everrything, Oz. Thanks to the F6Rider Store, I have so many shirts, I literally wear a Valkyrie shirt every day-even to work!

What you have started here is unbelievable. The VRCC is still going strong even though the bike that started it all hasn't been produced in 12 years.
Enjoy yourself but don't be a stranger!  cooldude

Oz I thought you were already gone so to see you post again was a surprise. To see you in the store was also a surprise I was wondering about this. But I remember your words in past posts about the manufacture of the Valkyrie kinda like you just said in this post but with concern that you were worried about the continued popularity and solvency of the site. How you actually did say that Misfit was the owner. While the VRCC is obviously still here and while many more lurk rather than post I am grateful that you sold interest in it and glad that Misfit picked it up. My thanks also goes to all who manage this site and work to keep it running. I personally believe they carried a vision of a site for a bike that people would still want. I always enjoyed your posts so I look forward not only to lurking but posting. Thanks for your creation of this site by the way, and thanks for your skills in all that you've done.

Thanks for all the work over the years. I have a closet full of your shirts. Don't be a stranger here.
I can relate to the non profit store, I have been making exhaust tips and other stuff for many years, some times I break even, other years I lose money. Like you, I still do it as I love the Valkyries.

Hi Oz,

On behalf of the Chapters abroad, I would like to thank you as well for all the effort and hard work you put into this club. I followed this message board from the beginning and joined the club a little after. Despite some occasional differences of opinion within the staff, you managed to keep the club up and running and did not pull the plug.  We, Valkyrie Riders around the world are very greatfull for that and owe you big time. You have created a worldwide community of Valkyrie Riders that is different from everything I have seen elsewhere. Your initiative has made it very easy for all of us to meet and become friends with people in distant places whom we otherwise would never have met. Not only that, I think the Valkyrie by now is pretty well the most documented bike from members themselves with 'hands-on' advice, which makes it so much easier to maintain, repair and enjoy this great machine. Many Valkyries are sold to a second generation of owners, who share the same spirit and enthousiasm, both for the bike as well as the club and continue to spread your legacy. Cheers, to this achievement that no one can take away from you, ever.

Thank you for your superb efforts with the shirts we have had at the Texas Hill Country rallies.  I really enjoyed working with you on those and hope to have your input "from the sideline" for our rally shirt this year.

Thanks for your great artwork and efforts on behalf of this great bike and its followers. It's the things we do for just for the love of them that last the longest. Just like my 15 year old shirts. Still looking good. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to keep up with them. Will welcome your thoughts and posts anytime.

Well.....I guess Im not paying attention or just not involved enough.  I didn't know you had left were leaving or weren't the man on top of this fantastic family of boneheads.  Yes I said it, and I am one sometimes too, we all have some inherent need to be different that's why we ride a bike that is different and act so different sometimes.  Rarely you put something together and it just gets bigger than you and becomes a living thing.  That's what I feel the VRCC is, its bigger than any one person.  Its a major part of our lives (those of us that have the bug) but Im grateful to you and the few others that persevered in the beginning to get it all together.  Good luck in the future!

Humm......I don't know the history of the VRCC but the blanks are being filled in and I guess I'm fortunate to have some original artwork on the goods I bought.  Cool
I like change ......... just as long as things don't change  Undecided if that makes any sense.
Not sure if we met at InZane last year as I met so many for the 1st time but regardless, I wish you well with your future endeavors and thank you for having quality products.  Smiley

I always admired your enthusiastic, friendly personality. You were willing to take time to visit with everyone who approached you at InZane events. I will always remember the excitement the Valkyrie generated, and I think of Zanesville as the peak time. All the venders that attended, and the custom Valks on display (most from your son's company). It was a magical time, and made us all appreciate our rides and make us feel special for owning the fat girl. Thank you for being the "man behind the curtain". I'm sure at times it seemed a thankless job, but all of us very much appreciate  all you did.

Thanks for the memories.
