Every April 1st I put a rubberband around the spray nozzle at the kitchen sink Evil...most years I get her cooldude...and she calls and laughingly yells at me tickedoff...this year she saw the rubberband...she still called laughingly that she found the rubberband! :-) coolsmiley

It is silly, childish and we both get a good laugh out of it... 2funny

What do you guys do if anything?

I just told the guys and my boss I'm retiring at the end of the month. The panic has set in. I will tell em later that I'm not really going to but only at the end of the day.

This morning, before I got out of bed, Sue tried to tell me that there was snow on the ground.  But even in my sleepy condition, I remembered what date it is...

Mother Nature hit us pretty good.  It was 70 degrees on Monday, snowed yesterday (didn't stick), and this morning it was 18 degrees.  I would say she got us.

I have a little different story for April 1. My birthday is tomorrow, April 2nd, but every year for as long as I can remember my sis-in-law calls me on April 1st and sings Happy B'day to me. Then goes on to say what a mean trick my mother played on me, telling me I was born on the 2nd when I was really born on the 1st. Then says she understands why, telling me it saved me from all the ridicule over the years by having a b'day on the 1st. Right on schedule, I got her call about an hour ago. Soon as I picked up the phone she started singing to me. When she got done I asked her when she got a cat, told me she hadn't and wondered why I asked. I told her I'm sure she now has a cat because I just heard a bunch of caterwaulling over the phone and couldn't hear a word she said. All's well until next year.  2funny

As for my sis-in-law, I love her to death, but she's ornery as cat pee. Maybe that's why we get along so good.

I do most of my April Fools pranks on Facebook these days... There's far more fertile ground for such things there...  Evil

Well one of my old army buds emailed me an article saying The Hildabeast announced that she was not going to run fro President because of the media her latest scandal stirred up.  Was really uplifted until I remembered the date.  I emailed him back, thanks asshole.

My #2 daughter sent us an email yesterday with a pic of a bike like hers on a wrecker.  Only line in the email was "My Bike".    Tried to get ahold of her for over an hour after getting the email.

Yeah, we got caught.  Forgot it was April 1st.   She and her bike are OK.

They like it around here...

It was my turn a few years ago. A thing that sounded like a cricket went
off under my desk every few minutes. I guess that would have bothered
some people  Wink ...
