It snowed last night but was melted on the roads this morning when I got up and picked up the paper from the driveway  We still have some big piles of snow on the lawn and side of the house.

The temperature had risen to 33 when I left for work.  Now in the low 40's   A real heat wave !

The beemer got the assignment and off to work in the Bronx and then down to the Courthouse  then back to work via the cross bronx expressway and BRP  (the ORIGINAL BRP goes from the south bronx to white plains ny)

The speedo was bouncing between 60 and 80 for awhile but it is nice and steady for the trip back to the office.  Maybe the cable needs some lube?

It will be twilight when I leave here for home, but still above freezing

Not me!  Needle on the thermometer has go up another 20 degrees for me.

Still have a trunk to install.  Hopefully on Saturday.

She also needs a real good cleaning.  With the seats and bags off, you can see the 12 years of dirt.

It's been cooling down here. Today only hit 90. Better than 97 a couple of days ago.

Heck, it hit the upper 70s here in Minnesota yesterday.  I hope that good thunderstorm we had last night washed some of the sand off the roads.  When your retired one has to find an excuse to ride, but it's nod hard...

We were in the very HIGH 70's yesterday.   Today it is a whoppin 62*.

I don't have anything to ride, so I guess I'll go take a nap.

Also need to fix my flag pole.    The latest wind snapped it in to.   Poor flag was hanging by the top eyelet on the flag.

Got a new pole , but just tooooo damn lazy to put it up.

When I do put it up, I'll run new lights for the flag.  These lights are about 11 years old and are very temperamental.     Got a new one that is a LED, and a solar on top of that.
