Here's the video of the 101 year old woman in Plymouth, MI.

She won’t buy a new car until she has worn her old one out and it is still in new condition - after all it is only 84 years old (the car that is, oh, the lady...she’s101!).

This lady’s car is a 1930 Packard.

What a pleasant and spry lady she is!

Take note in the video that she lays a shop rag on the running board to step onto when she gets in and out of the car. Then after she is in the car, she leans all the way down to the running-board to get the rag.

She is in great physical and mental shape for her age. The car is not bad either!

Click on the link below to view this beautiful car and listen to this wonderful, seemingly ageless lady.

John I'd love to have her as a neighbor. I think polishing day would be a blast. Just general conversation would be a history lesson.

What a gal.

Super Lady and the car ain't bad either.
I see where that was recorded in 2011 I wonder if she is she with us? I hope so. People like her give you reason to smile and big! I have a young lady as a patient that fell and broke her hip in January we replaced it (was broken in a way you can't fix plus she gets up quicker with replacement) and when she came to the office 2 weeks later for her post op visit walks in and just using a cane (which she used before) and she had turned 100 inbetween surgery and office visit cooldude I ask her if family had thrown her a huge party and she said she had told them not to make a fuss but they did throw a party then she just looked at me and smiled and said you know I did get 3 birthday cakes 2funny I just told her honey you deserve more than three Wink
Her mind was clear as a bell even corrected her75+ year old son that brought her to the office on medical history coolsmiley

Wow, I would have guessed her to be 72-75. She must have been a wildcat back in her day.  coolsmiley

Now that is impressive! Mainly the lady, especially when she picks up the cloth I can appreciate the flexibility there.  The car is super too.  Packard is one of my favorites.  Keep in mind that it is a straight shift with non synchronized gears and no power steering, no power nuttin'.

There is a lady in our senior apartments who fell twice ,broke both hips, came back and is sorry that she can't do volunteer work anymore but still drives her Buick, uses a cane, and is mentally all there.
She is 94.  We talk regularly. Her key and mine is to keep as active as possible.

My hat is off to these ladies!!!!  Genuine ladies.

Hell, I'll keep an eye out for her. Plymouth is just down the road from me.

Her name is Margaret Dunning, and I did a little bit of searching on the internet. Found quite a bit of info on her, but nothing indicating that she's no longer with us. USA Today did a story on her in August of 2013, and she was still going strong.
