You can go ahead and pick mine up!  Over here in the swamplands, we just think of this weather as HIGH HUMIDITY.  Will roll in Thursday in case I can help you on Friday.  Went to Albertsons and picked up some new trashbags to wear if needed on the ride over.  90% chance of rain, means 10% of BEAUTIFUL weather.  See ya Thursday!  Rain was a little heavy this morning here - but right now, it would just be a nice bike wash.  That is why the Lord in his great wisdom - gave us web feet over here  - makes for a more stable platform at stop lights.  Might be a tad moist - but hey, moist wind is better than no wind at all.

WHOOOOOOOOO-HOOOOO!  Can't wait!!!!!!!!!  Going to be seeing some dear brothers and sisters again.

It would take a whole herd of (water) horses to keep us from making it.  Planning on riding down rain or shine...although our preference is truly shine.  Grin

Mark,

Like many others, I'm going to take the wimp option and stay home... Sorry to miss out on the 'Q' and socializin', but... I gotta protect my delicate body from the road-crazies and elements... Perhaps next year...

We are sad to say but we (wingmantn and jojowing aka Tom & Joyce Jordan) are not going to make it to GOTF, too much weather...so someone else will have to win the money this year! Our dear friend, Mark Greenwood, will be coming. He use to live here in TN and lives in TX now.  He started riding again a couple of years ago and we had planned to meet up again at GOTF.  He is getting the Valk fever, he currently has a Honda Shadow. So he will be there to see what he needs to be riding! He & his wife are coming to Cumberland Furnace the end of May to stay with us for a week. Tom & him are going to have a couple days boys' ride to East TN/North Carolina about the middle of that last week of May. Anyone wants to ride with them, get hold of Tom - give him a call.

Should roll in to Alvin on schedule tomorrow evening and are looking forward to seeing those who ended up making the trip in the questionable weather.

Made the 400 mile run to Nashville on Tuesday with little rain.  Have ridden the entire 442 mile Natchez Trace Parkway over the past two days and are spending tonight in a nice little B&B in Natchez Mississippi. The last 100 miles or so into Natchez were pretty miserable, but the great tamale/margarita joint just up the street has kind of pulled us through…Will arrive at the BW Alvin tomorrow evening sometime.

Not sure if we're to head to Mark and Charlene's tomorrow or to wait until Saturday AM,  but it's all good…
