She was speaking somewhere to a group regarding immigrants and said all her grandparents were immigrants and how they all worked so hard.

Well, as usual, ain't true.  One of her grandparents was an immigrant, the other 3 were born here. Her team is backpedalling like crazy and trying to cover this up the best they can.

I can understand, my Grandfather was an immigrant.  In 1740.
Maybe that is what she meant.
Or maybe she is just a lying , self-important politician that will say anything that comes to mind to make her look good at that very moment.
As we all know 87.349% of all statics and stories are made up on the spot.
I would tell her to think before she opens her mouth, but I don't think that is possible with any politico.

I wouldn't bet against Hillary being a carpet cleaner.

There's also something a bit odd about the "close" relationship she shares with Huma Abedin.

I'm glad that we have Hillary to carry on Barack Obama's policies from 2016 til 2024.

I love the fact that my home value is skyrocketing.  My 401K looks better than it ever has.  I appreciate deficit spending being cut by 1 trillion dollars a year since Bush left office.  Unemployment down from 10% to nearly 5%, my wife's work can't seem to hire people fast enough for high paying jobs.  Aside from a temporarily faulty website at the beginning, Obamacare has been a smashing success.  I know the friends I have that had difficulty getting health insurance appreciate being able to get affordable health care.  I think Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz and their families appreciate their Obamacare coverage too Smiley

Only about one in 5 people identify themselves as Republican anymore, and I look forward to the demise of that horrible party filled with short sighted, selfish, bigoted people.  If not for extreme gerrymandering the Republicans would be long gone already.  They have been reduced to desperately trying to prevent American citizens from voting by closing polls early, etc.  By the time Hillary's two terms are over, the demographics of Texas will have changed enough to make it a blue state, thereby ending any chance of a Republican setting foot in the White House without an invitation by the Democrat in office.  It is truly a great time to be alive!

Obama called Bush "unpatriotic" for letting the National Debt go from 4 trillion to 9 trillion.  Under Obama, the National Debt has gone from 9 trillion to a present 18 trillion, and is estimated to rise to 21 trillion by the time he leaves office.  And, even under Obama's projections, the yearly defecit is projected to start increasing again.

So, if Bush is "unpatriotic", is Obama "treasonous"?

Yet, according to poster, Obama is great with economics, and Bush was terrible.  uglystupid2 uglystupid2 uglystupid2

Actually they did not have to sign up for ACA,  Mr. Cruz's wife could have applied for Cobra, or either of them can enroll in their home state by getting insured with a private insurance company.

I'm glad that we have Hillary to carry on Barack Obama's policies from 2016 til 2024.

Unemployment down from 10% to nearly 5%, my wife's work can't seem to hire people fast enough for high paying jobs.

Today's Left Coast Math Lesson:

105,100,100 = 5.5% of 220,000,000

WHAT???? How did we arrive at that?

The unemployment rate reported by the Obama Administration today is 5.5 percent, just ask Duddyo.

The current US population stands at ~ 320 million.

Now lets review some basic math facts:

By adjusting the 320 million to not include children 0-14yrs. old (60 million) and adults 65 and over (40 million) we come up with 220 million people that are (or at least should be) workforce eligible

5.5% unemployed out of 220 million = 12.1 million (the Obama Administration's claim)

However, by the administrations own admission, there are currently 93 million Americans now out of the workforce (chronically unemployed) who are no longer being reported. (Why not??)

That being the case, then 12.1M (claimed) + 93M (chronic) = 105,100,000 total unemployed in the USA. (The REAL number of unemployed!)

So, by doing the math as it was taught in school before Common Core:

220,000,000 workers - 105,100,000 unemployed = 114,900,000 employed, which means that the unemployment rate is actually 48% of the workforce, which coincidentally is about the same percentage of people on public assistance. Hmmm.

Hence, by following the 'logic' of the current administration:

105,100,100 = 5.5% of 220,000,000, not 48%

Confused yet, or are you just tired of being lied to like me?

5% my ass.

5% my ass.

The willingly ignorant suck up the spew of lies as if it were their last meal.

I love the fact that my home value is skyrocketing.  Making it harder for people to get on the property ladder

My 401K looks better than it ever has.  Those filthy capitalists making you money. I'm sure you aren't vested in any non green companies. Yeah right -hypocrite

I appreciate deficit spending being cut by 1 trillion dollars a year since Bush left office.  Who cares about the debt?

Unemployment down from 10% to nearly 5%, my wife's work can't seem to hire people fast enough for high paying jobs.  If you honeslty believe this number all hope is lost.

Aside from a temporarily faulty website at the beginning, Obamacare has been a smashing success.  I know the friends I have that had difficulty getting health insurance appreciate being able to get affordable health care.  Please give us the details of their family income and their insurance costs. Don't forget to include any subsidies they are receivieng

I think Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz and their families appreciate their Obamacare coverage too Smiley IT'S THE LAW THAT THEY HAD TO HAVE COVER.

Actually they did not have to sign up for ACA,  Mr. Cruz's wife could have applied for Cobra, or either of them can enroll in their home state by getting insured with a private insurance company.

For most people that is true, but Cruz said that he had to get Obamacare because the law required members of Congress to be covered by Obamacare.  Not sure about the Cobra part. But, they could not go the private route.

Cruz is rejecting the government’s employer contribution, even though he is entitled to it as a member of Congress. That is thousands of dollars a year, and accepting it would still be following the law.

(For clarification I'm not a Cruz fan.)
