Ya know, I've been perusing the latest Road Runner Magazine and I noted from the stories that the 1970's Era is considered by some as "Vintage"  Talk of the first smaller displacement Hondas, etc and how they are so nice to own now in 2015.  There was even one story where the son is talking about his 'old man' taking on off road riding.  His 'old man' seemed to be young enough to be my son.

Road Runner mag also has the latest in modern motorcycle gear, all reasonably priced at 300 to 700 bucks.  all kinds of neat stuff nowadays.

I was going to post a story here but it didn't work.  I really miss the ability to preview and I can't remove my post.

I am becoming a little disappointed on this board because, for example, five different posts about Hilary yesterday.  Yeah,I know this is a general board and i also don't own a Valkyrie anymore so I don't have any room to talk.

Wayne my friend I M H O you ALWAYS have "room" to talk and express your opinion and any ides you might want/need to add here. And-yes we may be addressing the beast a bit much here and we as a group are trying to make sense of a situation we are NOT happy with-I E-the beast. I for one am happy when you do post a story of one of your earlier rides. You and R J and others like you guys are WHY motorcycling is where and what it is today. Had you NOT bought your fist motorcycle and eventually gotten a Valkyrie I MIGHT not have met you and your sons and broken bread with you. I for one am happy you DID buy that first motorcycle!  cooldude RIDE SAFE.
