first let me throw in a disclaimer here,,
doesnt matter about the color of any ones skin..

kids now days are not afraid of their consequences because they are not afraid of getting punished..
when i was growing up if i did something wrong i got my ass tore up big time,, so all in all i was a pretty good kid.. i was afraid what would happen if i messed up..

so it needs to start pretty soon that people will be punished for the bad things they do and i believe that if the good guys would go into the riots and start taking out the legs of the bad guys with say full auto 9mm they would think twice about doing it again and the one that are thinking about joining in, would not.
so you say what about the good people that are there,,, if they are rioting or mixing in with the rioters they are just a guilty,, mow em down. one quick sweep would get all the legs you need before they fell into the path of the bullets.

reports i'm hearing this morning is groups of people calling for a "purge" of cops.

if anyone isn't sure what that reference is, "The Purge" was a recent movie where once a year people/citizens are given the right to basically kill whoever they want.

somebody really messed this whole situation up.

arrests should have been made the second the first rock, bottle or whatever was thrown.

there is no protest going on here, just animals taking the opportunity to F-up whatever they want.

there is no respect for anyone or anything.

It seems to me that from watching the first video, it seems to me that the kid right from the start when the cops first got him that he was unable to use his legs. It was reported he ran when he first saw the police so they chased him. Once they caught him it seems his legs didn't work making me wonder if something didn't happen prior to the police catching him.

It seems to me that once again if the kid hadn't run or stopped when the police wanted him to that there wouldn't be anything wrong.

When it still comes down to it, there is a lack of family structure in most black households. 72% are born out of wedlock or any kind of family structure. When 13% of the population are responsible for the vast majority of crime there is something drastically wrong.

In the King riots in '67 Detroit (and elsewhere), after warnings were issued, the National Guard was ordered to shoot looters on sight.  You see a looter, you shoot him (and render no aid or assistance and move on, the looters were shooting fireman and EMTs).  You see a walker with empty arms not looting/burning/destroying you don't shoot him.  Designated marksman on rooftops to cover the troops on the ground.  The riot quickly slows down.  There won't be a 2d, 3d, 4th night.  

From a marksmanship-judgment point of view, this is easy (on semiauto, not full auto).  This is the proper response in full-on riots/arson/looting.  

If the rioters/looters/arsonists come down my street (presenting a lethal threat), I won't wait for orders..... or permission.

If every one of these had done what they should have, NONE of them would have been harmed.

I tell my kids:

Do not argue with cops.  Be nice.  Do what they say. Accept any ticket they give you graciously.  Say no to any request for search, but if they search, let them.

Then, if you think they were wrong, get a lawyer, and let a judge decide.  That is the proper place to do it.

NEVER argue with a cop with a gun!  You lose!

    I thought they were upset about Gray being killed. Now it is about economic frustration. Looking at this practically not a black white issue. The mayor is black. The police commissioner is black. Half the city council is black. All of the aforementioned people are Democrats.
59 mayors, 1 Republican. Looks to me like the cities voting record is pretty much the root of all their problems and not a few rogue cops. I do not recall a story about fireman killing anyone and I saw liquor bottles being thrown at fire trucks as they passed that had just been a unreceipted purchase by the locals. For all of you that applaud this mother I do like the fact she is trying to get her kid to stop but if she had beaten his ass when he was learning right from wrong( which he didn't) she wouldn't be out there trying to get him to stop. When I was a kid I got my ass whipped at least 5-6 times a week and am proud of every one I got I have never been to jail,have been working since I was 12 and never unemployed in that time pay way more in taxes than I should ( more than I made in times past) but I am seen as one who needs to pay more because I have worked to get where I am and f'n freeloaders are entitled. That crowd is destroying a city, peoples' lives, and purposely attacking & harming police, firemen, and civilians.

So they allow the city to be burned to the ground.  Just who do you think will get tagged to pay the billion dollars to rebuild?  The Free Sh!t Army who burned it down, or you and me who work(ed) and pay taxes?  And there are tens of thousands of locals who are not rioting who wish it would stop (they don't have much, but it is all they have).

When you see a rabid dog on the street, you destroy it.  You don't let it bite everyone it can until it runs out of steam.  It is in everyone's best interest (everyone that matters).

This is nothing more than the natural (and predictable) outcome of decades of socialist policy (and Democratic machines) in action in inner cities, stimulating fatherless and out of wedlock babies thru payment of welfare and social programs to buy votes in exchange for a life of bare subsistence, lousy homes, lousy schools, no jobs, and no future.  The only paying work is burglary, robbery, numbers, prostitution, protection, and drugs with the only common denominator of violence, from cradle to (early) grave.  You don't learn values or discipline or respect at home, or at school, and you naturally hate the only limiting factor in your lives.... which is the police.  Then you go off to populate the vast empire of gladiator academies (prisons) where you earn your PhD in crime and violence and hatred of life.  

You cannot reason with violent rioters, any more than you can reason with fanatical Islamists.  They only understand violence, so you shoot them (as long as their bad behavior continues).

I don't agree.  Kids make stupid decisions regardless.  My wife and I are very strict.  He's gotten his but tanned a few times, been a while now (now 15).  We continuously teach him how to behave in certain situations as they come up.  For ex. he went on an overnight trip with school and we must have spoken to him a hundred times about his behavior on the trip, what to do if this comes up or that happens.  Not to follow the crowd if someone suggest doing something stupid or dangerous.  Be respectful to the chaperones.  Follow all rules.  Over and over again.  He once stated that he wasn't gonna go on the trip because of all the "talks" we were having about it.

Sure enough one of the kids suggests they play the passout game where they push on the chest of another kid until the kid passes out.  AND THEY RECORDED IT AND SENT IT OUT INSTAGRAM.  These kids are so stupid.  If I was there and caught them in the act, I would have kicked his ass all the way home, from another state.

The fact that this woman was out there, looking for her son, shows me that she's a terrific mother.  I applaud her.  She heard that something was going down and went out there to bring her son home and caught him throwing rocks and police.  Over 200 arrests, countless injured, 7 cops hurt, but her son went home.  And don't forget, there's a 73% chance there no father helping her.  But that's a whole other topic of failed left handed policies.

I was completely thunderstruck to discover how true this is in DC.  Bragged about as a badge of honor.  And not just young men.  We had an exceeding contrary old Vietnam combat vet downtown with USDVA who bragged of producing children well into his 50's.  He was single and supported none and no mothers either.  Real piece of work. 

Was rated 70% for PTSD, and working full time.  Intended to file for 100% when he retired.

With some exceptions in big cities (where many LEOs simply cannot afford the mortgage or rent), it is my understanding most LEOs nationwide are required to live in the town (or county) they police.  With the exception of big cities, I think it's a good idea.  LEOs like military are perceived as being on duty 24/7, and if called in for any reason, need to be reasonably close by.

However, LEOs home addresses, phones, and other personal data is and must be very closely held information.

I heard a defense for her last night.  She was on the committee reviewing what happened in Ferguson, where they came to the brilliant conclusion that it was the presence of a military like police force that ESCALATED the ferguson riots.  If that's the case, how could she go against her own findings and brilliant insights??  So, she did what the progressive book says and withheld her police dept. from intervening.
