I actually enjoy most pics I see on this and other boards, especially Oss's secretarial pool.  coolsmiley

They remind me of all the places I will probably never get to see in my lifetime, but offer great views on places I would like to see sometime.

Some may do it a tad too often, but is fine by me no problems with it. I like it.    cooldude

You worry too much about little stuff. It must be a bitch when you have a real problem  Grin

You make a really good point there!!  You see: snake bites are little, viruses are little, bullets are little, kidney stones are little, and need I go on, we know how they generally end up!!  I pay attention to the little problem and meet those head on, that is why I don’t have to worry about major problems, and they get taken care of before they can start.

Don't get the impression that I think your Pics. are wrong, I just say I don't understand the reasoning of the persons intentions.
Those items you listed are indeed "little things" with a large impact.  But in the original statement (and other times it has been used) regarding worrying about little things has always implied >>> little things that don't really matter, the things you list don't really fit the category of "don't really matter".

A wise man once said "Worry about the big things, the little things will take care of themselves" (or something like that  Smiley )

Cliff!! I don't like being critical, but what planet are you from? You say one should not sweat the small things. Do you read the news paper or watch the news, can you see the condition of our country. It was not done due to large problem, large problems we would not tolerate it, it was due to those small thing you refer to, the seemingly unimportant things that is deteriorating our way of life as we speak a bit at a time. Don't get paranoid, just pay attention, for me keeping an eye on those small things have literally saved my life and my health.
You obviously only read some of my post.... and ignored the  part about not to worry about the little things that don't really matter.  If something REALLY matters  you really should not be calling it a little thing.

I did read what you wrote, the thing is, in your highlighted in red text is the key!! That is an assumption and not a fact. You are assuming we all see things the same way. I may see thing you would not, simply because I choose to pay attention, and you may take it for granted and choose to ignore it. You are on your bike, you got a green light, do you buzz through it, or are you cautious going through it, allot of street lights out there, its only a small thing, it only takes one then your done!
Yawn.......... if it cannot effect you or anyone's health, well being or financial status it is likely one of the little things that doesn't really matter.  The things you mention do not fit into that category.   Posted pictures aren't likely to change your health, well being or financial status, that is UNLESS you spend so much time and effort worrying/debating about them that you end up neglecting one of the little things that truly does matter.  There are many people who worry far too much about the little things that don't matter, so much in fact that they constantly get "bit" by the little things that do matter and should have been worried about, obviously some folks have difficulty differentiating, some deliberately others not so deliberate.

You realized you just described yourself and the way you think. You talk about debating, there is no debate, you make a decision, period, what you described is called drama, you sound like a women. If you are so confused you have to debate whether small things can be  detrimental to you, I understand you position. I am sorry to hear you have such difficulty making decisions. By the way, you mentioned about pictures and financial status, that is what is did for a living, and trust me it kept me healthy. I won't explain that I may confuse you more. In reality we shouldn't even be having this discussion, it is part of life and our makeup.

I refuse to respond beyond this last response ,, way too much misdirection... and to much belittling and name calling.  Those weak in debating skills always fall back to those tactics.  Have a wonderful day.

Added---- or those who deliberately avoid an honest debate. Heaven forbid I accuse someone of having weak skills when it could actually be deliberate.

I'm sure there is a proverb that pertains to this, but why waste time researching it.  The weather is nice and it's time to ride!!!!

I am not a competitive person, I see no reason for it, I just say what I see. Far as expected to be a master debater is not in my cards.  I just say it, the way I see it, if I see a trend then I make a point of it, I am not a very diplomatic person. I don't Bulls*it people, I don't take dog crap and put frosting on it, and sell it as Krispy Cream.
This is what I like about this board, because many of you people will tell me like it is, that is how I learn.  Cliff Sorry!! if I went over the edge in your eyes, I just say it as I see it, and it doesn't mean I am right.

It's a pictorial representation of a quote, a proverb of sorts.

“Never wrestle with pigs. You both get dirty and the pig likes it.”  ― George Bernard Shaw

I'm glad that I only posted one reply to this thread.

Kinda reminds me of Pachebel's Canon in Major but not near as soothing ( loosely called a Roundel.)

Or like Row, row, row your boat,( going around in circles.)

I'm sure someone can psychoanalyse my remarks but I really don't give a rat's patootie.

I'd go for something a lot more important to me, like a ride, but no motorcycle.  Oh well,  i think I'll count the number of dandelions in my yard and report it to the apartment owners,  Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley

In the old days it was like looking at the slides from
the family vacation. Nobody looked and nobody cared, but
they were our friends and we tried to show some bit of caring
Like the rest of the people in the room.  Try to be a bit tolerant
Of your friends, their differences are what makes them our friends.

Question: Do I think there is something wrong with posting pictures.
Answer: No, not at all, it is just they mean more to the one that took them, then it does to the one that is viewing them.
Question: Then why did you create this post.
Answer: Because I was curious about what is the motivation and the objective of the person posting them, what do they hope to accomplish.
Question: Should you view picture and act like you are interested in them.
Answer: I don't know!! I don't want to hurt or insult anyone, but I don't want to lie to them either.
Question: Why do you ask such dumb questions.
Answer: Because that is how I learn things in depth, and they are the ones most people don't have the balls to ask. Also it gives me better understanding for problem solving. This way my decisions are less likely to be one sided.

OTHER THAN THAT, HAPPY MOTHERS DAY YOU GUY!!
