I do 3 or 4 day ride for the last few years. This coming year we are coming down to do the Back of the Dragon. We are Riding from Southern Jersey....I am looking for a hotel between the Back and Front Royal. I am thinking second weekend in July 2017.... Any help???  WOW that's like a 400 mile span.. There are lots of Hotels... |

That I know....was wondering is all those miles, are there hotels that anyone has stayed in before that was nice enough that they would recommend one. A nice place, food within walking distance....fuel...stuff like that

There are motels right off many of the I-81 exits. Assuming you are returning on I-81, pick one when you are tired. |

It was a pleasure to meet you and to get down there and ride the back of the dragon. Let your husband know that we all enjoyed the route he gave us into West Va.
In all my years of riding my Valk, I have never come across so many people that actually know what a Valk is. Seemed every place we went at least one person would say, "Look, it a Valkyrie"! Which drove my HD rider buddies nuts! ha ha ha
You have some great roads down there, I would not rush to turn that area in the Robbinsville. It was nice to ride on a Saturday and have the roads pretty much to ourselves.
Thank you again, hotdogs were perfect!
If you make it up to South Jersey, let me know.
