It not much worse than sometimes me playing with my mp3 player, but that is for 2-5 seconds vs. texting taking 1-2 minutes or so.

I only do it when no one around and only take my eyes off the road for 4-5 seconds tops, but that is 3-4 seconds sometimes too long.   Roll Eyes

What upsets me is the teenagers texting at a stop light or while driving and doesn't look up for minutes at a time it seems like.  I had 2 teenagers last year following at a stop light saw BOTH texting driver and passenger.  Red to green light, waited 5-10 seconds, and beeped the horn informing them to look up at get going.  I blew by them still texting and they had the balls to flip me off still while texting.  Next time getting the license plate and informing the cops.
