I own a '99 Std. and an '06 VTX 1300. The VTX has a small hidden (behind a plastic pop off panel) compartment that holds a small tool kit, small instr. manual and is where I place my bike registration yearly. Since I do not have an owner's manual for my Valk and I do not want to bust any plastic part, I need to know if my Valk has a similar "hidden" storage compartment. ???? Thanks!

Yes, it is located under the seat behind the battery.  Take the battery cover off and you will see it.  You may even find your toolkit there.

C'mon, you're not fooling us -- we know you're just smuggling contraband!   coolsmiley

Kind of a Catch 22, the owners manual may indicate where the tool kit and owners manual can be found, but the owners manual is in that location...
