That lad couldn't stay out of trouble if he had to. LOL.
Out East of Des Moines, that good lad from New York done did run over something that let all the air out of his rear tire.
He plugged it, rode it about a mile and it popped the plug out.
So rather than wait for Mark & I to get my trailer back together he called a wrecker. So I offered him my son's MGM to ride to Spearfish. Remember he is now a Trike.
Well to make a long story short, he tried to ride MGM around the block. He never told us but he filled his britches. He won't admit it but the smell gave it away. LOL. Not really, but he sure scared the crap out of hisself.
So he rented a cage and went on to meet the rest of the group in South Sioux Falls, SD for the night. He will make Spearfish one way or another. Bike can't have a tire till Monday, so the decision was made to go in a cage.
Couldn't even get him close to the Chevy Trike. Good thing as I was later mowing the yard, I discovered it didn't have a plate on it.

A squirrel punctured your tire? I ran over a poor little chipmunk in NC. Just made him a small fuzzy Frisbee.

Oss, if you can't get the bike by 5 on Friday, call me and I'll go pick it up for ya. That way we know you will have some wheels to get home. LOL. Are you saying a squirrel make the hole in the rear tire? Must have needed to be replaced anyway if that was the case. It had to of been super thin.

small bones shattered in just the right place can even cause a car tire blowout whether squirrel, raccoon or any other small animal.
Be safe!

I hit a "pre-flattened" small critter in my Mini cooper countryman with OEM tires that were still very new, left front tire... flat! first time for me and made me a believer, now I put forth extra effort to avoid even the "pre-flattened" critters.

Running over a previously run over squirrel whilst leaning over in a tight curve will make the bike slide a little as if the squirrel was a roller.

Running over a previously run over skunk is a mistake.
