Sure is quiet around here all of a sudden... Is there something going on or something???
(My 15th year in a row of being jealous of ya'll and watching from afar. Take lots of pics, tell lots of lies, post lots of stories for those of us that can't go, and most importantly of all, everyone stay safe, we need ya'll around to tell the stories and post the pictures!)

Well, I agree, but, for a different reason. It has been quiet of late, have we been gotten too and have become more politically correct ?
But, I'd still like to see some travel pics.

I didn't realize there were so many lakes in Texas, I always thought of it as deserts and tumble weeds.

I really like my GMC Sierra. I don't use Mobil1 anymore. I'm going to the "bright side" on my I/S. I still like Valkyries better than Milwaukee V-twins.
Have I stirred enough crap now?

I didn't realize there were so many lakes in Texas, I always thought of it as deserts and tumble weeds.
Lotta reservoirs, but only one actual natural real honest to goodness lake in the entire state. All the other "lakes" are really man made reservoirs... And yeah, Texas is full of surprises... Want prairie? We got it. Pine forest? Got it. Desert? Got it. Mountains? Yup, got 'em too... Sandy beaches? Those are here too... Metropolitan urban centers? Several to choose from. See, people often say Texans are too proud but in reality, compared to what we've got here, we're actually really really humble... (How's that?) Oh and for trucks - Toyota. Ya' know, the most American Made truck you can buy. (Okay, that oughta stir it up enough)

Sure is quiet around here all of a sudden...
I thought for a minute that this was an inside joke for some reason... I've also been waiting in anticipation for bits of info and pics of the goings on out there since I couldn't attend. I want to live vicariously through everyone else.

I joined the Darkside on all four wheels. UHP summer tars............ Oh wait, this IS a car. I installed a K&N intake on my Miata. it doesn't go any faster but sounds like it. I'm thinking of wearing a helmet. The @#$% semis on the interstate blow my hat off, when i have the top down. There, totally inappropriate for a Valkyrie site but it's not as quiet for now.

I want to live vicariously through everyone else. Don't be expecting too much. I remember when I attended Inzanes 1 & 2 in Zanesville a member(Mosa)had one of the hotel rooms set up as sort of a media center so people could communicate with and send pics to the board so folks that couldn't attend wouldn't feel left out. Very little in the way of pics seems to come out of Inzane anymore. We get a few individuals who post things when they get home, but most of those are not captioned so you really don't know who or what you are looking at. Things have changed.

BTW: My current and past two trucks have been Fords. If I wasn't flying to St John in the USVI tonight for 16 days, I would be in Spearfish with you. Yeah that's right!

Well here's the deal. I have a bunch of them (even a Cabela's gortex waterproof). What you do is tighten up the strap and wear it snugged up behind the head (about an inch down from the headband). It hangs down in back and forget about it (this really helps hold it on), but when you need it in heavy wind, it's there as a chinstrap. And like with sailor hats, you don't just plunk them on, you flatten the crown and turn up the ends to give them a little shape and character. And adding a little sunblock is still a good idea. The cotton ripstop is very cool, but nearly unshapable and floppy. The cotton canvas is a little heavier, but will hold a shape.

Oh and for trucks - Toyota. Ya' know, the most American Made truck you can buy.
(Okay, that oughta stir it up enough)
[/quote]
No stirring the pot, just stating facts.
Actually, I think the past few years the newer Ford F150's have taken over the Toyota Tundra's most American made truck (including parts), but only by a small percentage. Now, as far as American built, the Tundra's are all built in one plant in San Antonio TX.
Face it, all 1/2 ton trucks are now pretty impressive though as well as they should be for the price they are asking for them.
