Just got back from the dyno shop with my buddy who holds like 6 land speed records. He built a turbocharged 305 Chevy...that's right a 305... It just dynoed at 770hp without an inner cooler.plus it wasn't totally maxed out but they shut her down. He is GOIN after a 30 year old record set by Art Arfons. He is expecting to drive his 68 firebird at 250+mph...I am definitely goin to watch this one..cmon august

that would be speed week at bonneville salt flats. If youve never been is reeally cool. Last hear it got rained out for the regular event and the rain date. People from all over the world had shipped their rigs there to run and never got to. $$$$$$$
