Why would anyone shave a cow like that?

Broussard, Louisiana

« on: June 12, 2015, 08:36:22 PM »

Rode a wet and cold ride to Concordia, Kansas yesterday from Ground Zero and awoke this morning to a radar showing no way to skirt the "yellow and red" stuff, so threw on the chaps and plowed into it.  Rained solid from Concordia, Kansas to Oklahoma City, where the Lord turned off the taps and turned up the heater. Traffic was horrible in Dallas and I think I lost a wheel bearing there - wont know until I get her torn down, but shimmy and clanking/squealing at low speed - especially during braking.  Had to continue on, so the main thing is that she got me home - safe and sound.

Thanks to all the staff that made this happen!  Ya'll rock!  AWESOME TIME!  I know that I passed a large time.  The Black Hills were magical and getting to meet new family and meet up with old family - that was what it was all about!  Thanks again.

3502 sweet miles - and every one - even the wet ones were SWEET!!!!!!

Ride report to come.........

Glad you got home safe. That is exactly what noise mine made when my rear wheel bearing went out last year in Bristol.

Fort Walton Beach, Florida I'm a simple man, I like pretty, dark haired woman and breakfast food.

Wonder if all of that rain washed out the bearing?

Not a fan of riding in the rain.

It was really nice talking to you, Warren.  Glad that you made it home wet but safe.
