Yeah, I just got my official OPM notice in the mail; my Govt file was compromised (maybe... they're not exactly sure.  But somehow I don't think I would have been notified at all if they weren't pretty sure.)

Maybe it's 18 million, but maybe it's 30 million.  Perhaps there's some safety in numbers.

Not only does my G screw me daily, they get to do it intentionally and accidently.

What a bunch of great guys.

Not to worry they've called in Homeland Security to help (God save us all).

It's been a while, but the only derogatory data I recall is being caught at 17 with beer, so I'm pretty sure I won't have to spy for the Chinese.

On the other hand, just my personal data is enough to cause me trouble.

With the new SCOTUS ruling, I am thinking of marrying my dog.  He's a boy, but I guess that's OK, and I need the deduction.  Obamacare may not cover vet bills, but give it time.

I might have to spy for the Chinese . They've got a lot more dirt on me than a beer at 17.  coolsmiley

Mine was hacked as well as my insurance (Anthem) was hacked also.

They're all real sorry and have offered free credit monitoring for a year.

Big whoop.

I wonder what the Chinese are paying these days?   coolsmiley

Back in the day I knew a few hackers, from my observation, its not always about the money, its a conquest, its the thrill.  Also has ever occurred to you, that may be these are not accidents.

Jess, this is a 4 point laugh.

Marrying dog -  Smiley
He's a boy -  Cheesy
Need the deduction -  Grin
Vet bills -  2funny

Sad part is you are right.  How long will it be before the FLDS sue for equal treatment with polygamist marriages (here comes Jeffs - better set him free)... course I would imagine the LGBT community might try a "community" marriage as well....  isn't that special... might as well be, well, your dog... "but I LOVE my dog..."

Beat you Jess.  Got my almost two weeks ago.  I did take up the offer of free credit monitoring.  While I don't have any bad things, other than a traffic ticket or four (they never caught me in my youth doing what I shouldn't have been doing).  I did find by exploring the Credit folks website, that there was an entry for a home in Georgia under my SSN, from 1987.  They are looking into it.

But hey it free for 18 months and we are suppose to get up to a Million $$$ if someone helps themselves to our savings.  (don't know about you folks, but don't have a million in the piggy bank).

Yeah, my dad got his a few days back too (He worked for TSA to bridge his last few years from the Air Force during Vietnam to get enough federal years for retirement.)

But, I HIGHLY recommend not marrying your dog, I just don't think it would work out. Ya' see, dogs tend to be Democrats!

---------

My dog sleeps about 20 hours a day. He has his food prepared for him. He can eat whenever he wants, 24/7/365. His meals are provided at no cost to him. He visits the Dr. once a year for his checkup, and again during the year if any medical needs arise.

For this he pays nothing, and nothing is required of him. He lives in a nice neighborhood in a house that is much larger than he needs, but he is not required to do any upkeep.

If he makes a mess, someone else cleans it up. He has his choice of luxurious places to sleep. He receives these accommodations absolutely free.

He is living like a king, and has absolutely no expenses whatsoever. All of his costs are picked up by others who go out and earn a living every day.

I was just thinking about all this, and suddenly it hit me like a brick in the head, Holy crap, my dog is a Democrat!

Grin  (some dogs do earn their keep)

I'd love a pair of these, but they'd get me in trouble.  (say hello to my little friends)

I agree with your choice in dogs. Ours just passed away a few months back, he earned his keep for many years...

(He looks small in this pic, but he could jump up and put his paws on my 6' tall spousal unit's shoulders with ease.)

Threaddrift but oh well. Smiley

Sorry to hear that man.

Each time our many animals passed, my wife got so overwrought with literally weeks of weeping, I could no longer bear to have any animals in my house.

I just found out about this guy today.  Not much of a pet, but what an amazing creature.

I'd be tired too.
