Actually, they sell Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Polaris, Victory and Indians. Checked out the new Valkyrie...No thanks! Don't like it one bit. Hard enough to get past the looks let alone what it feels like sitting on it. Sat on the F6B...not too bad. If it had a backrest it might be OK. Sat on the Indian Chief...I could own one of those, but air cooled Sat on a couple different versions of the Victory Cross Country...Ummm, no thanks. Last one I checked out.... the Victory Vision. If I had the money........

Drivers backrest, passenger backrest? If the F6B didn't have a passengers backrest you were looking at a standard model. When you up grade to the Deloux you get self canceling turn signals, heated grips, center stand and passenger backrest. Take a F6B for a test ride. You know that silly grin you had when you first road a Valk? Yup, your face will hurt...... Before you get back.

Ok, not knocking the F6B. It out handles and out performs the old Valkyries but, I did not have an experience like that. When Honda comes out with a bike that looks as good as the old Valkyrie and performs as well as the F6B, I'll be riding one. Until then, I'll stick with my old Valkyrie.

The F6B had me when I squared it up out on the highway in first gear and snapped it WO. I had looked at the F6B in the spring of 2013. It was tough. Oct of 2013 I finnally pulled the trigger after 13 years and 107,000 miles on my Valk. The only down side after 22,000 mile is the less than stellar paint. I don't always get to the bugs so the front mask has some permanent bug marks. If you want a show bike don't by a 2013/2014. I haven't herd if the 2015 colors are any better.

Only one question: Which one would you get off of after a 400 mile trip and remark that it was the most comfortable ride that you had ever taken? New, old, or F6B?

This was a 2014 (F6B) they had...Yellow. I liked the color. No cruise. And no backrests. I have 2 Valkyries and have spent a fortune to make them comfortable for me and my wife. They still look like new and I will never wear them out in my lifetime, and I will never get out of them what I think they are worth. Now if they would trade even up my I/S for a new F6B...maybe. I'm just dreaming. What got me to the MC store was needing new exhaust gaskets. I picked up a unmolested I/S exhaust in mint condition. I had been thinking of going back to stock after running Mark T glass packs for more years than I can remember. I don't wear a helmet too often, but when I do, I need earplugs. So I had been thinking about this for a few months and then ChrisJ was telling about picking up another Valk that had stock exhaust and how nice it was for a change. That just pushed me to get serious and I looked on the classifieds and bingo. I do have a pair of exhaust that the rear baffles are drilled and was thinking of putting those on my Std. The Std has glass packs also but not Mark T's. I was informed by the wife to leave that one alone, she rides that one and said she likes it loud.

I haven't rode one yet, but the seat on the F6B that I sat on felt like a LazyBoy or a Barcalounger.

I could hate the new Valkyrie after a 20 mile ride, especially after I put the Corbin seat on there. After fiddling with the handlebars/shield/highway-pegs, all is well. The new is as comfortable all day long as the old. -Mike

Only one question: Which one would you get off of after a 400 mile trip and remark that it was the most comfortable ride that you had ever taken? New, old, or F6B? That would be a little of a toss up, but my F6B is more comfortable than my Valkyrie. Neither one has the stock seat or handle bar positions. My Valk has Ultimate King and my F6B has a Corbin. My Valk seating arrangement is more squishy feeling where my F6B feels more form fitted for me. The biggest difference in ergos is that my F6B has the Ergo III Kuryakyn highway pegs that I am loving and the Valk has the Kury with a fixed position. I have realized they are mounted too high and prefer the way the Ergo IIIs are mounted. I've been far passed 400 miles on either one and both will do it just fine. In the twisty bits, no freaking contest, I want the F6B.
