Anybody who doesn't know... stopping alongside any freeway (or any major thoroughfare) is a very bad idea, no matter what you are driving.  Either get clear off the road 30' into the weeds, or get off the throughway entirely, then stop. 

It looks like the truck driver threw a strike.

That sickens me. When I think of all the times a group of us, usually to or from an InZane,
parked on the side of the road for various reasons
(put on rain gear, wash the burning sweat out of my eyes, the Bassman kill switch incident...)
it gives me chills.
