In the 15 years that I owe my Valkyrie (80.000 m), I had to change my headlight lightbulb 3 times. Bi Xenon a bit faster than conventional bulbs. My Xenon bulb lasts about 3 years, I noticed (I have a spare one with me all the time).
I hardly ride at night, maybe 10 times in all those years. So, guess what: two out of three bulb failures were in the middle of the night Embarrassed

I've had a main light failure at night twice. Second time, this time on the Valk,
I had a lightbar that gave me enough light to be somewhat safe and legal.
