Took my Ruger Mark 2 target pistol that I put a red dot scope on to the range. After sighting it in. Using wolf match ammo shooting from the bench at 25 yards I shot three 5 round groups. All three targets had the ten ring shot out. 5/8 of a inch group. I will take it.....

Mark and I are both lefties.  He has another leftie .22 , a Browning Medalist that I gave him.

Red dots are magic for aging eyes.  cooldude

This one is very nice (and scads cheaper than the Aimpoint T1 micro)
https://www.primaryarms.com/Primary_Arms_Advanced_Micro_Dot_with_Push_Buttons_p/md-ads.htm

On an AR or similar flat top, you get a riser that makes the dot co witness with the iron sights, or a riser that puts the iron sights in the lower third of the dot sight.  50,000 hours battery life.

Nice Ruger.

I have a Mark III .22 Ruger also and the same target grips for righty in walnut. It is my favorite range gun. You can pick the wings off flies at 25 yards and the ten ring lives in fear out to 50 yards if I am using the scope. I once hunted squirrels with that pistol before I got a second long bow.

Yes I am left handed. I bought this gun several years ago to shoot in league. In door 50 feet. It is real accurate at 50 feet, better than me. I bought it because my dad would not let me use his Browning medalist anymore.  Since then my dad has given me the Medalist. So since I had both I thought about selling the Mark II.  I asked for and got a red dot for Christmas. After shooting the Mark II I have decided to keep it. So now I have two guns I can compete with. The Browning Medalist for open sight and this Ruger for red dot disciplines.
