who lives across the street. Since I have two cars now, I have to park the Mazda six in the visitors spot to back the Miata down the driveway. She came over the other day and told me I was parked crooked.  I was in a fair mood so I didn't give her a snappy reply.  Evidently, she thinks that she is in charge since she's lived there awhile.

I thought it was funny.  Some people are overwhelmed by a feeling of self importance. cooldude

Oh, my next parking job would definitely get her attention.  Diagonally across two spots with a wheel in the road like I  came home way too drunk.

Is it YOUR visitor's spot or a communal (for other tenants as well) visitor's spot?

If yours:  then YES, she was hitting on you for sure, go over and chat, you may get lucky -  2funny

If for others tenants as well:  she may have a legitimate gripe?

I have a neighbor who has an open trailer, a fishing boat with trailer, and 3 vehicles, with tons of times 2 of them parked right in front of MY house on the curb on the public street.  Although public street,  they have all the room in the world to park one ONLY in front of my house and 2-3 others easily on the other side of his driveway in front of HIS own house.  Is even worse now that their son and family are more local now and visit every other weekend bringing it seems down with them 2 vehicles and a trailer.  I wonder if they can open up a used car lot?

Pisses me off I cannot even park 1 of my own vehicles in front of my OWN house if he has 2 sitting there when he easily has enough room for 3 on the other side of his driveway in front of his house.   One vehicle/trailer is fine further down by his house, but 2 takes up the spot in front of my own house.  The other neighbor is almost as bad parking sometimes in the summer his enclosed trailer closer to my driveway than his, not allowing me to park  one vehicle either on the other side of my driveway.  At least he moves it in 1-2 days though unlike the other neighbor.  Seems to me the police doesn't enforce the new rule very much thinking if there in same spot for 1-2 weeks, they would ticket the neighbor if the fly by night rinky dink rent a cops in this town did their job.

I feel like being an A-hole at times and call the police since the stupid village board passed an ordinance this spring in our rural small town that no vehicle or trailer, etc. can be parked in the same spot for more than 24 hours on the street, especially since he leaves the trailers or one truck there for a week or longer.  It use to be ONLY for winter parking no vehicles on street due to plowing, but now the village I guess doesn't like any vehicles on the street, even in front of your own house.  Stupid rule in a way now since we have NO sidewalks in the subdivision and the street are plenty wide enough to allow 2 cars parked one on each side and still barely squeeze thru 2 vehicles driving in opposite directions.

It's a visitor's spot, not used.

So she wasn't 'hittin' on me......................Thank the Lord! Grin

I no longer go out with any ladies on my street. I  went with the lady next door for awhile but she turned out to be a Go To Church, old fashioned Bible thumper.  She told me that she was so successful that she even converted a Catholic to being a Christian. ?????????????

That even offended my Lutheran upbringing. Smiley Smiley

Wayne I was thinking about you and your new ride yesterday when 15 Miatas rolled by. All of them looked sharp. Must have been a local club ride.

Watch out for that gold digger. Grin

My last house my did it way too often and I couldn't park there myself. I decided to park my motor home up close to his bumper (4") . He did get the message. He even did auto repairs in front of my place until one time when my wife was sick and could hear all the noise.I complained and he stopped. I'm having that problem again in my new house so now I park my truck as close to the property line as I can. I wish I could live away from people but we decided to live in closer because of the shopping and in an emergency the hospital.

I'd LOVE to live in the country by myself away from all neighbors with a 3 car garage and huge pole barn with just enough land to mow with a small rider, maybe a few acres of woods as well is all.

I guess I am lucky though (ya right),  the neighbor  I sort of get along with down the street who cannot wipe his _ss without asking me for advice near weekly has it worse.  He has complained to me and rightfully so there is next to his house a Mexican family with like 5 older cars parked all over by his house all the time and tons of young kids out and about with he thinks 3 families living in that small city home.    They leave the garage open all the time and there are boxes and boxes piled up 7 feet high taking up the entire 2 car garage - UNREAL,  no wonder they have 5 cars in the street and driveway,  there is NO room at all inside the 2 car garage for anything else.
