We will roll out and cross The Great Smoky Mountains then taking The Blue Ridge Parkway to Sparta, North Carolina for The Meet In The Middle on Saturday Sept.5. Below is a motel located in Clinton,TN for riders needing a room for Friday Sept.4.... Super 8... 720 Park Place...Clinton,TN ( 865 ) 457-2311 " NORTHERN GROUP " Mark ( 3fan4life ) will be bringing the Northern Group from Waynesboro, VA . Motel information for this group for Friday Sept 4 is below. When you call to book your room tell them that you are with the VRCC Ride to get the rate. Days Inn...2060 Rosser Ave ...Waynesboro,Va.... (540) 943-1101 BOTH GROUPS.... " Meet In The Middle " The " Meet In The Middle " motel for Saturday Sept.5 Alleghany Inn ... 341 North Main St ... Sparta, NC...( 336 ) 372-2501 The going rate is $89.95 however since we have used this motel before they cut us a deal of $67.95 plus tax... Be sure to tell them you are with " THE MEET IN THE MIDDLE GROUP " to get this rate. They have 10 down stairs room available today so if you plan to join us call asap after Aug 14 the rate will go to $89.95 plus tax.... I wish now I would have only posted one motel for the Southern Group to hook-up in Clinton on Friday Sept 4 . Several folks have called or sent me a message asking " What Motel " ? I'm going to remove The Red Roof Inn from the list so everyone can stay at the same place.... If you already have a room there you can keep it or cancel and get one at the Super 8.... Just for the record they are within waking distance of each other.
