I've mentioned this intersection many times before, it must be possessed.
Coming home from our typical Sunday breakfast I approached this particular  T  intersection and a car was pulling up to the stop sign. Once agin this nit-wit blew right thru it from of me turning right into 'my' lane. Luckily once again no one was in the on coming lane so I just pulled out and drove around her. I was in the little roadster so rather than yell something about her ancestry [ trying not to be racist, or, is it bigot, still don't know] I just gave her the Ahooga horn and pulled back in front of her. Her response seemed typical of today, she gave me the single finger salute and a dirty look. I guess she felt entitled.
Moral of the story, be careful, they are still out there !

Sounds similar to the nitwit that did the same to me when I was riding the Vstrom in April.

BTW, they still pull out in front of my Miata.  Evidently, size is the determining factor when they blow stop signs.

Exact same thing happened to me this May but I was on the Valk.  I got over, zoomed around him in his SUV,  slowed down a tad, turned around while driving in front of him and gave him the bird flipping him off.  I was so pissed I floored it going 80 mph to get way ahead of the a-hole.  He didn't even look my direction before pulling right in front of me on the crossroad.  Damn glad I had another lane to get over otherwise I would have been toast for sure no time to slow down on that one.   It was like he had the right of way or something never bothered slowing down or looking, like he owned all the roads.

I admit I don't always, well usually don't, come to an 'actual' complete stop at a stop sign, but at least I look both ways before stepping on the gas. and sometimes looking back and forth both ways 2-3 times before pulling out even if I am creeping along forward EVER so slightly.

A few years back I had some young female on the phone pull out in front of me, never looked in either direction....just pulled out. She had her window open so I pulled up next to her and hit the air horns. The phone went flying out the window and she jumped the curb to her right, taking out some bushes and a mailbox. I made a "U" turn, went back and picked up her cell then rode up with the intention of handing it to her. I then asked if she might possibly think of looking next time before pulling out. She never answered me, was too busy getting sick all over her front seat. Obviously air horns make her sick.  Roll Eyes

I tossed her cell onto the front seat....where she had tossed everything else the last few minutes, then rode away.

JoAnn felt like a pizza so we headed to town. On the way home another nit-wit, this time in a Cherokee, pulled the same stunt. That intersection has to be possessed.
I don't know how much longer my luck can hold out. I kept my calm as JoAnn was with me and just gave him the horn, which seemed to scare him, and rode around him.
There was a car fairly close behind me that did the same.
This road is a secondary and curvy so is double solid the length of it. Well, this nit-wit had to pass the car behind me just so he could crawl up my rear. As we were pulling into our driveway they had to slow, blow their horn and both occupants had to yell something that we didn't quite catch. But, we don't think it was an apology.
Be careful. There are a lot of a-holes out there.

Friday night I was out playing on the interstate riding offing into the sunset and enjoying the BrakeAway Cruise control. I approached a busy on ramp and made my way to the left lane. As I got closer to the on ramp, I passed a slower car and a car was on the ramp waiting to merge.

Some idiot in a 4 Door BMW comes flying up to the car in the right lane and damn near hits the woman driving. My speed was 75, she was probably 70. The BMW had no where to go, so he fall in behind the car trying to merge and goes completely right, on to the shoulder and passes the car on my right and the car merging. After that, the driver just opened it up, had to be full throttle because a matter of seconds that BMW was gone, and picking it was through traffic. When that car hit the shoulder to pass, it must have went off onto the grass some because there was a big cloud of dust too.

I don't usually hope for the state police to be around but it would have been nice to see that drive get lit up, I might just have stopped too to let a trooper know what else went on.

Look away from their phone now, c'mon? Might miss the next text. Wish I could post the pics of an accident we covered yesterday involving a texting driver. IF it saved one person from doing just that it would be worth it. Hippa ya know. 2 vehilces head on at 65 isn't a good outcome.  ???  The person / driver not at fault said the at fault driver had his head buried in his phone as he crossed the center line at the last second hitting him and his family. Double extrication, hurt kids / adults , dead family pet and  and one  helluva mess.  tickedoff  Something has to be done and people need to become responsible drivers again and get their heads outa their asses. Techonology is great but not in an automobile!

couldn't have said it better Hooter.  Get their ___ out of their ___!!!

Surprised that near head on collision, so far anyways, resulted in just one dead pet, it could have been much worse.  The head on collision I saw 60 on 60 mph behind my house on hwy. didn't turn out so good a couple years ago.  The ford fusion women who worked for the same company I work for died instantly and the older ford pickup older man was in VERY severe condition was med-flighted to hospital don't know his outcome but am sure he was fighting for his life.  When I saw the ford pickup doing a dukes of hazard rollover in mid-air onto his roof doing at least 50 mph after the impact, both impacts one on the car and the other onto his roof doing 50 mph he is lucky to be alive at all after that.

+1. Taught my girls the same at every red light or stop sign.

Here in the Atlanta area so many people are texting or otherwise distracted it's kind of easy to avoid them. I just hold back and not get any closer to a vehicle than I have to, especially if they are going slower or their head keeps bowing. Too many idiots to discern so, I figure everyone out there is one except me and it's my mission to survive.

Coming to an intersection I do as all us do, just try to be wary and alert, no other choice.

I try to always look both ways twice.  That way the vehicle/pedestrian that was behind an object or my A pillar the first time I look will have moved out from behind it the second time.
