This narrator must have gone to the Bill Clinton School of Public Speaking.

My weiner knows where it isn't, and from this, extrapolates where it wants to be.

Except for the differences it is identical to the way non-related items are related.

In that I am a former Aviator, I can directly relate to this method of navigation.
I used to use a similar method to navigate all the time.
This should explain why I'm now where I am versus where I was intending to go.

Happy Trails to you, until we meet again.....................................

The thing about a launched missile, is that it never remains in the same place.  Unlike myself, sitting in my easy chair, the only deviation of where I should be is in my mind vs Susan's mind.  When I do the subtraction to determine the deviation, I can calculate the required input to my control surfaces (legs) that is required to eliminate that deviation.  I can then decide to actuate the control surfaces or just ignore Susan.  I'm still sitting here...

Plainly speaking. Wherever I am, that's where I'll be. Unless I already left. In that case, I'll be somewhere else.

The Grand old Duke of York, he had ten thousand men.
He marched them up the hill, and marched them down again.
When they're up, they're up.
And when they're down, they're down.
And when they're only halfway up,
they're neither up nor down.

The words of the rhyme are believed to refer to Richard, Duke of York, claimant to the English throne and Protector of England and the Battle of Wakefield on December 30, 1460.  The Duke of York and his army marched to his castle at Sandal where Richard took up a defensive position against the Lancastrian army.  Sandal Castle was built on top of the site of an old Norman motte and bailey fortress.  Its massive earthworks stood 33 feet (10m) above the original ground level ("he marched them up to the top of the hill").  In a moment of madness he left his stronghold in the castle and went down to make a direct attack on the Lancastrians " he marched them down again".  His army was overwhelmed and Richard the Duke of York was killed.

Strangely reminiscent of our current leadership.
