Welcome to the addiction from Central Florida!
I too did the same thing you did. From Central Florida I boarded a plane to Austin,Tx. on a Friday night a few years ago and met the owner of the Valk at the airport. We then travelled about 70 miles South to his home.
Got up Saturday morning and headed for Florida, arriving, 1100+ miles later on Sunday afternoon around 4:30PM.
The grin is still on my face.

Welcome,
You're joining up with a great group of Valkyrie enthusiast.   Some of them aren't nearly as good looking as those of us from Kentucky but, they've all got some great looking Valkyries.  Wink

Good looking bike.  It's the only way to buy a Valkyrie.  Done it five times myself.

Welcome.  We have a small handful of female riders and it's always nice to add a new one.  Is Joe short for Josephine?

Woops!  I exaggerated.  There were six but two were trailered from eight hundred miles away.  Maybe I didn't exaggerate.  I did ride two other people's Valkyries over five hundred miles each to them after they had purchased.

Yes, Progressive Insurance bought three of the Valks for me.  They raised my rates.   Undecided

Welcome to the insanity.

You must have a car tire on it, based upon the paint scheme.

Welcome aboard if you are lucky you will only have one. The addiction is bad. I bought mine big blue in El Paso Tex. Flew out and met owner at airport. Road around the block and handed him the rest of the cash. rode to friends house in Canyon lake Tex 565 miles away first day. Stayed and visited for 3 days and then  rode 1,666 miles in two days home to Calvert county Md feel in love with the bike after that. 2011 it had 10,500 now it has 45,000 miles on it. Its still being broke in . So a big welcome like your paint job.

Welcome, CTJ. That's a very cool paint job. Some of us on here are even Orphans. We no longer own Valks after crashing them or selling them. Then we turn around and do crazy things like buy new Valks or F6b(s)--the latter in my case.

But once you get attached to this family, it's pretty hard to pack up and leave.
So I just stick around and smooth out the rough spots. It's my only goal in life.  coolsmiley

Thanks fellas.  I rode one of my dad's Valks a few weeks ago and had to break down and buy one.  Putting 1200 miles on it two days was breeze.  Thanks for the welcome and hope to meet up with Rams tomorrow night.

Dennis, how is WHICH werking out for me? The F6b is great after adding a center stand, Ergo iii highway pegs and a taller shield.  I still have a work in progress though. Smoothing out the rough spots is a tougher challenge with all the eccentric characters in here but there's no better place to hang my hat! Take care and ride safe my friend. Hope to see Da Prez Saturday!

But, we really need to help CTJ figure out how to make his Valkyrie stand out.   Wink
