So many colors to choose from yet so few stand out

Covington, TN

« on: August 29, 2015, 01:33:14 PM »

A few months back, someone from TN was looking for an Interstate Tank to put on their Standard/Tourer.    I have an extra IS Tank and thought I'd help him out.    He was interested but, when it came time to take pictures and send them to him.    I couldn't find the damn tank.   I looked in the shop, the Garage, the attic shop, the house attic, every where I could think of that I might have stored it.    I have periodically looked in all those places again, under stuff, behind stuff but to no avail.   Couldn't find it anywhere so, I (obviously) couldn't follow through and send the pics or reach an agreement on it's value.    uglystupid2

I have to admit, I was feeling pretty stupid, I couldn't remember selling it but, there was always a chance I had.    It bothered me a bunch, I thought, I must be getting senile.  I even asked the Spousal Unit but, apparently she couldn't remember or..........................   Roll Eyes

Well, guess what.  TODAY, I found it.   The Spousal Unit had moved it from where I thought it should be to where she thought it needed to be.   Yep, her place was obviously better than mine.   I mean really, everyone should store an Interstate Tank in the bedroom clothes closet that no one goes into any more, shouldn't they?

Whoever that was, I just wanted you to know, I'm not as crazy as I may have appeared to be.   I FOUND IT!!!!!    cooldude

Edited: This is not an ad to sell my extra Interstate Tank, I just wanted to prove I wasn't nuts.

Coming up on 34 years.

I'm too old and lack the energy to train a new one.

Ya Know, I still think it made a nice center piece on the formal dining room table.  Wink
