like we'd have liked it to, but glad no one was hurt any worse than they were.....guess I need to quit jumping into the group rides again and go back to just meeting y'all at the destinations....that makes twice that someone riding behind me has gone off the road and gotten hurt.....maybe I have bad juju??..... ........Mike and I had a great ride up to Cherokee to meet everyone....hate that it went downhill from there.....but looks like everyone will heal up to ride another day.......I rode home alone this morning on the BRP almost to Sylva.....before jumping back on the main roads.....802.4 miles ...the Fat Lady got me home in one piece......good to get to chat with my Yankee friends last night......just hated that Hubcap and Randy missed out, but don't blame them after all that happened....see y'all at the FCR......

Steamer, first off it was great seeing you again, it had been way too long.
As I just got done saying in my post to Joe, unfortunately these things happen and if you ride long enough the chances get bigger. I highly doubt that you juju had anything to do with it, just a bad thing that happened and you just happened to be there. Don't believe your a vodoo doll that creates bad crap.
I  hope you keep hanging with the group

4:30, still in Canton... I could have made it if I went with Hal on
the Interstate... I 40 to Statesville and I77 to 21... gully washers
and traffic backups... I just wimped out and rode home through
the awesome mountains...
