You are quite correct. I smelled it when they posted it about Bush years ago,, however I ignored it and realized it was not true and was in fact a joke and meant as a joke. I did not jump on the post and point out to everyone that it was BS as I figure that folks can figure that out for themselves. I give credit to those on this forum that they have that ability and I do not have to point it out to them. |

Wizzard, we've given this thread a lot more attention than it needs but I want to be sure we end this exchange on a friendly, or at least acceptable, note. I'm pretty sure the post was Rainman's not yours. I was pretty careful to say the tired old joke was stupid and not say or imply that any person was stupid. Incidentally, any time you believe one of my posts is stupid please feel free to say so. I have moderately thick skin. I'm going to go ahead and cling to my belief that if everyone agreed with me this would be a really good world in which to live. I'm going to agree with you that it's not going to happen that way and that we really wouldn't need elections if it did. That belief that we're all intelligent enough to sort out ... ? I think we're going to have to agree to disagree on that one. On a regular basis I see where someone has cut and pasted something to post and gets responses assuming it was originally created. On the average I would say it's all too evident that we're just about average in intelligence. Have a good day. I hope the weather calls out to you that it's a good time for a nice long ride. |
