Looked it up on Snopes and they said it was true letter with the disclaimer that it must have been a spoof since the stupidity involved could not have been from a Democrat.  |

Seems pretty apparent to me that it's a spoof. But I've been wrong before. I'm curious why some are always ready to jump on a story about how dumb some people are ? We all know there is a whole range of intellect in our society and the entire world for that matter. Does it make one feel smarter pointing out the inferior intellect of others ?

Not at all, but it does go to show how many are out of touch with reality I have doubts that was real, but ok. You probably haven't heard some of the call in responses regarding deer crossing signs. Some are hilarious and serious. Sometimes smart folks just get screwed up. But, its still funny whether the folks are right wrong or indifferent. |

Chances are pretty high it was written by someone of the opposite perspective to the one represented by the letter. I think it was poorly written on purpose.  |
