Guys and Gals... my life has been a whirlwind the last couple years. Buying the firm I have worked for for 12 years at the time, and 15 now... Things could not have gone better. We have set a new record this year for gross new business, and we still have 2.5 months to go! We have grown from 10 to 12 employees. And most exciting, I have an offer out to buy an 8800+ sqft office building that we will occupy half of, if the deal gets done!

Motorcycle wise, I sold my Green IS, Bought a 2008 Goldwing, resold the 97 Standard that I owned a few years ago... (Ya'll missed out on that by the way... $3000 bought it) I still have my Blue/White standard, and now the Wing.

Personally, my son who is now 8, is playing post season, travel football on the "Probowl" team. 16 kids selected from the ranks of all of the 3rd graders in the recreational league. Their team last year beat their opponents 131-0 in 5 games. They played their first yesterday and won 31-0. Ben is looking forward to wrestling season starting as well. He won 3 state titles, a national title and was runner up in a state tourney where he was a year younger and 10-30 lbs lighter than all his competitors last year. Sum it up to say... he's fairly successful as an athlete at this juncture. He got straight A's in school too... except for gym, in which he got a C.  uglystupid2

I got football for the next four weekends, then deer hunting for 7 or 8 weekends...

There are just not enough hours in the day... I love and miss you guys though. I seem to always make plans to attend VRCC gatherings and can't actually get away when it's time... Embarrassed

hey Jabba,
i just want to toss in something to look out for,, a kid that works with me doesnt have any thinkability because of wrestling in high school, he had 4 concussions and now his brain is scrambled,,his short term memory is not very good,,he was a state champ and if he can get his smarts back will teach wrestling for a living,,,so be care with the wrestling thing and keep a close watch on his actions, if he starts doing "stupid" things that seems should be common sense maybe get him check for the concussion thing,,,

2funny "He got all A's except for gym" It's good to hear from you. You are obviously raising a fine young man , I doubt you need any advice from us. How are you liking the Wing ?

Ben doesn't like contact around his head... yet. So he avoids that pretty seriously.

I like the Wing a lot. It'snot a Valk... but it's also not a Valk. It rides small and is similar to the valk in balance, but is even more powerful, and rides even smaller. And it's not top heavy like the Interstate was. Not that the IS was BAD... but it was more top heavy than the Standard... and the Wing doesn't FEEL like that.

I really like it. I'll keep my Standard too, for those summer days that I don't want to hide behind the fairing... (That's MOST of the time).

The grip heat and seat heat is nice, but the electronic Cruise control is the Best.
