Fosters brother sent me a text that the doctors have told the family that he's looking at least 6 more months in the hospital.. If sending a card don't say anything on the card about this... They are keeping this information from Foster.. He's busted up... Keep Foster in your thoughts and prayers.

Same hospital as of today. That's a lot of bustup. Did anyone see the crash? What did he hit that caused this? It's sad news but better than it could have been - that may include rehab time since it's likely he will have to build up his muscles to walk again. |

Ten or so of us were noodling down this nice little road, came over a rise with a mild turn, and I guess he went a little off the side where there was no shoulder, just a cartwheel-inducing rut... I was several bikes back... We had a nurse and an EMT in our group, I sure was glad to have them there...  -Mike |

When we went back with his brother it looks like he ran off the road down a ditch-line and his engine guard hit a tree root that 360 the bike. Big Tom was behind him and told me the bike went 360 4 foot off the road and threw Foster off the bike either landed on him or hit him afterwards.

We were up ahead, towards the front of the pack, when Foster wrecked.
About 8 of us pulled off the side of the road and set a spell when we noticed the rest of the group was not following.
When we went back to the scene, it was hard to tell what had happened, still not clear to me...
Sure hope Foster starts getting well soon, we think of him all the time.

Foster has took another turn for the worse his breathing is slow and labored and is now dealing with pneumonia.
