Thanks for the update, as much as I hate hearing this.   Cry  Prayers sent almost every day, now for comfort and relief as much as miracles.  I've seen miraculous things before and I pray for them now, but if it's not in God's will may Foster be released into eternal love and paradise.  Even a strong man should not suffer indefinitely.  Sounds like the next days are crucial.  My fingers are crossed.  God Bless Foster, his loved ones and his friends in this time.   angel

Thanks for the updates... There comes a point where the continued suffering isn't going to help and passing away is just a release I'm afraid.. Sad

(That was meant to be sympathetic, not morbid, sorry if it came across the wrong way.)

Still hoping he pulls through and fully recovers though!

No it's not morbid. It's real life. Foster has fought hard, very hard, probably harder than I would be able to. He has my undying respect regardless of the outcome. There is still hope  cooldude Makes me realize how close we all are to the same thing. 1 road shoulder away. As our friend O2S says "Ride Safe"  Smiley

Update 12-8... Foster has took a turn for the worse again... One lung
is still not working now his other lung is shutting down... Surgery is necessary and the doctor's don't think he can handle it... It's back to do or die...   I'm starting to doubt Foster will ever leave that hospital alive.

All we can do is pray for him, just as we have been doing.  I have no doubt in prayer nor in the answer I receive, even if it's not the answer I hoped for.

Below is a copy / paste from Foster's brother FB page.

My friends, you all know my brother has been fighting injuries from a mc fall for 55 days and counting. He has taught me so much in my life and continues to teach me how to be strong in face of my cancer. He has made it thru 43 days in ICU and 3 operations that doctors did not think he could handle and now we find he needs another operation on his lungs. One lung does not work and may never recover the other was compressed for so long that fluid in it has hardened they have to go in and scrape it out. For him a very dangerous operation. If no operation he would live on a ventilator and feeding tube, to this he says, no way. Thru facing all this he is able to maintain his sense of humour and his ability to show no fear. We have known each other for all of my life, he has always been there for me. I have faith in my brother I believe in my brother and I have faith in God and believe in Jesus and believe that together he will make it thru this. I know many of you are having troubles at this time as well and you are in my heart and prayers also but if you could continue to share a prayer for my brother I would appreciate it greatly. The station will be in about a week. He needs to build up some strength first.thank you all so very much.

Prayers continue...  I don't question him one bit for not wanting to live hooked up to machines, but he sure hasn't been fighting this hard to give up now.  C'mon Foster!

Sent 3 cards today.  Will send them in batches, since I don't go to the post office very often.  3-4 cards every 3-4 days should about do it.
Come on Foster, you can do it!!

I got a text from Foster's brother that Foster is still having trouble with his lungs one doesn't work and the other is full of liquid from being flat on his back since Oct 17 . He is still fighting however they can't do surgery until he gets stronger and he can't get stronger flat on his back  Sad

Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

He is somewhat able to sit-up and still has the machine helping him breath . He can now talk for a short time. They are hoping the drains in his lungs will keep him out of surgery... The man has my respect a lesser man would have died long ago.

Thanks for the update Joe.   I've never met Foster and I've kept him in my thoughts and prayers but, I feel like I've missed out by not knowing him.   Thanks for the updates and keep them coming.
