Stopped for a few Eastern Box turtles in my time. 

On the other hand, I speed up for squirrels.  Grin

(you almost never get one, but it's fun anyway)

I must have had a good day then. Two squirrels, one rabbit and 3 starlings on the way to Wilmette and just missed a skunk on the way home. I worked hard to miss the skunk, they really make a mess of the Big Girl. Every time I collect a new fur underbelly on the Large Lady, I am reminded of Daniel Meyer's tale of his squirrel encounter on a quiet street.
