She was a great one.  Remember her well in several John Wayne movies.  They always went after each other and had great on screen persona, as in McClintock.  John Wayne said in an interview he preferred to work with men except for Maureen O'Hara, shes a great guy.

WOW, I hadn't heard about it we have been out of the house all day, I loved M.O., what a dynamite lady. Her and The Duke were great on screen together and she did fantastic in movies w/o him too.

I remember years ago when she went before Congress to have Wayne receive the Congressional Gold Medal. It's been decades since The Duke passed but hopefully their spirits have found each other, they really were a great couple.

God Speed "Mary Kate Danaher", it's ok to be playing paddy fingers in the Holy Water now.

When I was in high school they herded us into a room and had us watch The Quiet Man as an example of life elsewhere in another time.  I greatly enjoyed the experience and it has been one of my favorite movies all my life.

She was as good an actress as you could hope to find.

I loved the fight scene in The Quiet Man, and the little old lady that offered the Duke a a nice stick to beat the lady with.

"Mister?  Mister?  Here's a nice stick to beat the lovely lady."

Don't forget the adjective.  I think that's my favorite of many great lines.   Wink

Thanks Carl, I couldn't remember the exact line.  It's not like it was from the Big Labowski or anything.
