The ride was nothing exciting and fairly short, 80 miles and a little over 2 hours, but sure was good for the soul. It had been a few weeks since I'd been out on the Valk. Saturday was a beautiful fall day here in NC. Not great colors yet & the cotton was almost all harvested in my area. I had to search a good bit to find some still in the field.
I really enjoy the country side north & east of Charlotte, nice roads, not many cars & the folks in the pick ups always give you a wave when you pass by.

Nice pics, thanks for posting. N/C is on my list of places to visit. Much of the music I like to listen to and play seems to generate from there, and people I've met from there through work events, etc. describe a place and lifestyle much different than my home turf. A good riding buddy of mine just recently moved to SC on a work transfer ... maybe a trip to that area is not too far off in the future  Smiley
