Throw this little tidbit at them:
From Wikipedia, definitely NOT right leaning.
"According to a 2014 study published by the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA), based on interviews of 42,000 women aged 18–74, approximately one third of all women in the EU were said to have suffered physical and/or sexual abuse. At the top end was Denmark (52%), Finland (47%) and Sweden (46%).[43][44][45] Every second woman in the EU has experienced sexual harassment at least once since the age of 15. In Sweden that figure was 81 per cent, closely followed by Denmark (80%) and France (75%)."

If they mean Europe and Africa (countries).
Then I do not see that that even needs an answer. Why would ANYONE want to emulate those failures?

They're wanting a second amendment equivalent to go with all the "immigrants" they have flowing across their borders too. Kinda regretting the good guy gun free zone that IS civilized Europe.

http://www.wnd.com/2015/10/michael-savage-weve-lost-the-battle/Savage criticized President Obama, British Prime Minister David Cameron, Merkel and other Western leaders with a provocative comparison he recognized could be misunderstood. They are doing, he said, what Adolf Hitler did in reverse: Instead of invading other countries, they are letting foreigners invade their countries. "Hitler was a psychopath," Savage said, who "invaded other countries to impose his nation's, let us say, his distorted values and race on other countries." "What is Obama doing?" Savage asked. "He's invading his own country with people of other races and other cultures and other languages to wipe away the predominant language, the predominant culture of his own nation. He is equally mad. "Barack Obama is as equally mad as Adolf Hitler in that regard," Savage emphasized. "Write it down," Savage said, directing his words to establishment media. "Maybe it will make it to CNN: 'Talk-show host says Obama as crazy as Hitler, because he's invading his own country with foreigners.' But they'd better get the whole quote correct. And I don't know if they're capable of it." Savage said Merkel "is invading Germany with foreigners." "She's invading her own nation," he said. Regarding the war for Western Civilization – which was built largely on English common law, Judeo-Christian morality "and the uniquely American principles of individualism and self-reliance" – Savage also referenced the cultural revolution of the 1960s. Some 50 years later, he asked, "Can anyone say that has worked out well?" A major battle in a war over the future of Western civilization has been lost as millions of migrants from the Middle East who largely oppose Judeo-Christian values and have no intention of assimilating flood the United States, Britain, France, Germany and other nations, talk-radio host Michael Savage told his listeners Tuesday. Savage said he received an email from someone he described as "far smarter than I am" and "farseeing." "He said to me, 'It's over.'" Paraphrasing the email, Savage said that what German Chancellor Angela Merkel is "doing to Germany, what the weakling is doing to England, what the socialist is doing to France, what Obama the psychopath is doing to America, will render this country non-existent in less than 50 years." http://www.wnd.com/2015/10/michael-savage-weve-lost-the-battle/Last night on Coast to Coast AM George Noory had on a guest Frosty Woodrigde talking the same scenario. Over 10 years ago Pat Buchanan wrote a book about the same thing and of course Ann Coulter just wrote a book called Adios America. Always was a fan of Dr. Savage although he does not get on the stations around here any more. Chuck Savage criticized President Obama, British Prime Minister David Cameron, Merkel and other Western leaders with a provocative comparison he recognized could be misunderstood. 2Ch 7:14 Then if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.
When creating the Mayflower Compact, the signers believed that covenants were not only to be honored between God and man, but also between each other. They had always honored covenants as part of their righteous integrity and agreed to be bound by this same principle with the Compact. John Adams and many historians have referred to the Mayflower Compact as the foundation of the U.S. Constitution written more than 150 years later.
America was indeed begun by men who honored God and set their founding principles by the words of the Bible. They lived their lives with honesty, reliability, and fairness toward establishing this country “for the sake of its survival.” A great many of America’s Founding Fathers have been quoted in regard to living by Biblical values.
Edmund Burke (1729-1794), outstanding orator, author, and leader in Great Britain, defended the colonies in Parliament. "There is but one law for all, namely, that law which governs all law, the law of our Creator."
Thomas Jefferson wrote
Can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are a gift from God?”
Forty years after Jefferson penned the Declaration, he made note to a friend: “We are not in a world ungoverned by the laws and the power of a Superior Agent. Our efforts are in His hand, and directed by it; and He will give them their effect in His own time.” And this from the man who is considered one of the least religious of the Founders.

Uhhhh it's so easy to forget that there were already millions of people living here when "America" was "found". Oh well, just take their birth lands and fight them back, spread the good "words" to any that survive "for the sake of its survival" (it being "pilgrims". That's a lot of quotation marks...my bad.

Michael Savage is on the same level of dingbatedness as Alex Jones.
Merkel is reaping her left wing sensibilities.
She opened her mouth and inserted her foot.
Many here in the USA also believe in open borders but when asked how the flood would be cared for seem to have a stock answer "the rich can pay".
Shocking that so many have no idea about economics.

Man, I hope that was a lame attempt at humor. But I doubt women who have been abused would find it very funny.

... (No women were harmed during the writing of this post) That's not entirely true, Dr. Gary. When we make light of how someone has been physically victimized we increase the culture's lack of proper concern. People are indeed hurt by that. Those of us in the upper half of the intellectual spectrum hold a more critical weight and thus responsibility.

Political correctness is everywhere, its everywhere.
We just can't use any humor at all now when discussing a serious topic.
I would hate to think that anyone of us would abuse a woman or would think it acceptable, but, we can't add any sort of humor to the discussion either. Heaven forbid. Oops, a religious remark, thats probably not PC either.

Patrick, I am no fan of political correctness either, and don't think my reply was PC. Nor would I suggest anyone on this board would think it's acceptable to abuse a woman. I have no issues with using humor to discuss serious topics, just didn't find any in these two "jokes"

No women were hurt DURING the writing of the post. And, while yes the subject matter may be one of a controversial comedic issue, context is everything. We laugh at things that hurt people every day. Comedians, have made careers out of it. Context. Should we remove all traces of Lenny Bruce, Richard Pryor, Rodney Dangerfield, et al? They have surely offended people with their humor. Should we hold them to higher standards as many of them dance around the higher intellect level? And those that know me here for the last 12 years or so should also know where I would stand on physically abusing women. Context.
