Heavy frost last night had to scrape the cars windshield so Bonnie could get to the fair where she was working today

I settled in after making breakfast to read the revenant on my old kindle and around 11 I deemed it warm enough to ride without heated gear on the beemer and headed out since nobody wanted to ride with Oss again

Anyway did the usual meandering east and west slowly working my way back to the place where the Croton Reservoirs and watershed empty into the Mighty Hudson river then north along the river to the Annsville Circle where the goat trail leads to Bear Mtn

Took some nice pics of the twisty road up along the east trail and north to Cold Spring  Also took a shot of a historical marker just south of where Major Andre met Benedict Arnold with the stolen plans to West Point, then at the light for Cold Spring went east and headed to the Texas BBQ  on route 9 just south of 301

If adm can PM me my photostash info I will post them here  I just got a new puter as the old one's fan died and smelled like smoke  Lost my password and member #

Used a kid in a BMW as a rabbit to haul a$$ south 20 miles, slowing at just one point to pass a trooper hiding north of Croton on Hudson

I will post the pics of the trail today here when I get the info from Willow or whoever is in charge today

Colors were past peak in some places but spot on peak in others

A great day to be out and even nice for mowing the lawn

edit  Thanks Carl for the info. Now I just have to figure out how to resize these pics as the program I know is NOT on this computer
Got to wait for the wife to come home   Roll Eyes   and splain me how this works

OSS: Post the photo as is on Photobucket. Then when you click on the photo (full size), you'll see a box on the right that says "copy image". Click in that box and it'll say "copied". Then go to the valk page and paste in a message. No downsizing needed. I thank SmokinJoe for that tip several years ago.

It leads us to the photobucket site where we can scroll through the pictures.

A way to post the pictures right into your post on the board is to cut-and-paste that IMG thing
on the right of the photobucket site that looks like this...

... right into your post. Then when you hit "post", the picture will be there.

wanted the left turn pic with the red and orange leaves will try again

Thanks Sandy and Mike   Ended up right clicking on pic and then copy image location as the IMG on right side of screen didnt work

This is way easier than photostash hope I am not using too much bandwidth ADM

Hi Oss... now you're cooking... I like the way you're doing it better than the
"photobucket IMG way"... you're posting just the pictures and not links back to
photobucket that lead away from the vrcc site... and since you're storing the
pictures over at photobucket, you're using ZERO vrcc "bandwidth"...

If you do it the "photobucket IMG way", then your pictures are also links
back to photobucket when you click on them, like this one:

this is a small waterfall on the right that due to hardly any rain is just a trickle now
In winter it is dangerous

In the background you can see there is no guardrail just some random big a$$ rocks next to the cliff

here is a church on the hill east of Garrison

We need more members posting ride reports, come on folks it aint winter yet
