While that is interesting and and may one day be really great it only makes me marvel at we humans. The computing power the balance and what we do is just amazing, On the production line of humans the complexity of the machine is beyond words. Even the imperfect have capabilities beyond any machine and while we look at the machines they are making they are made for one task. We as humans take on all so many tasks, and the duration of the machine we call human is pretty good. Science pales in comparison to what we humans are made of and just think for about 20.00 dollars in chemicals the cost is pretty cheap also.

Thanks for the post it really made me compare that robot to the guys I see on the  circuit and

really reflect on the Bible that says we are fearfully and wonderfully made.

Back in the 60's my dad and I would talk about the possibility of robots. Of course, I just KNEW they were right around the corner. I remember him explaining some of the practical challenges that would have to be overcome. He didn't think I'd live in a future with Jetsons style robots. One thing I remember him saying was, "You never know how brilliant a moron is until you try to build one."

He absolutely rivaled Author C Clark, Robert Heinlein, and Issac Asimov in the accuracy of his predictions of the future.

I don't want one to ride my bikes.

I want one to clean my house and yard (and 10 million leaves).

Gotta be careful there, those female bots just might be able to actually suck a golf ball through a garden hose.

Be careful you don't wind up with an Austin Powers style fembot.
